These guys never got their due. Great fucking songs, incredible talent, undeniable originality-easily as good, if not better than Gun's N Roses and the Crue-2 of the biggest from the 80's.
My all-time favorite song from this band. I watched this vid you got it from so many times I know every word from it, lol! I actually met Marq in '90 (maybe '91) - OH MY GOD WAS HE SEXY!!!! Sorry, gotta go fan some flames now, lol.
These guys were our answer to VH after Dave left. They should have been much bigger than they were. Great band, great sound, great songs, I just don't get it.
(once again .... Fresh) Just really a blast of fresh air. This whole album truly is fuckin GREAT. Kissin Kitty . Oh hell Yeah.
And yeah,,, why is it they were'nt bigger and bands like bon jovi, poison and crap like that were??? If these guys were not worthy of more acclaim then nobody was.
Funny-I used to live in Montebello and I used to see Jimmy(drummer) drive around in a beat-up Nova with punk bands written all over it with a can of spray paint. The cops used to have a real problem with the Anarchy symbol written on his door(s). Great group of musicians.
Love this Drum sound on this Track. think Ted Templeman did this album. Sharp, Clear, Attack, Bright. my favorite Kick and Snare combo. loved this band too. god, what happened to music? I wanna go back to the late 70's/early 80's and live it again ( only differnt. Lol)
Funny how Marq Torien went from being the best Eddie Van Halen clone on the L.A. scene (briefly w/ Ratt) to being a dyed blond David Lee Roth with Bullet Boys. The first album kicked ass - the rest is shyte!
Duh, I'm fully aware that DLR ripped Dandy initially. But Dave is as original a character as Jim Dandy whereas Torien never really amounted to more than a capable wanna be/clone be it on guitar or as a frontman.
They were monsters when I saw them live during that era. They were like VH but more of a bluesy approach. Didn't know about the drug problems, but it doesn't surprise me. Most bands of that era had major drug problems.
I friend of mine sorta grew up in the same area as Bulletboys. He talks to the drummer Jimmy and they all hate each other. Especially Marq the singer. He was a giant cokehead so I'm told.
My first rock concert was when I was 14 was a Bulletboys show. That was in '89. I saw them again on the Freakshow tour. They were loud as fuck!! Who cares what other's say, they had a style that was different from other bands during that time. Their songs consisted of a lot of heavy blues riffs.
Holy headbangin heaven Porkman!!! I feel like I am back in college with much thicker hair,15 lbs lighter, chasin long haired lasses around campus. Man I hate Nirvana!!!

Yeah, he was always a little high strung. I saw that Jimmy's son is a great drummer too. He is about 14 or 15 and he looks like a heavy metal kid.

Saying they all hate each other is a bit of a stretch. They pretty much agree that they hate Marq, though.
