He sold out the woman he loved, and was driven to ruin his sobriety all for a sociopath who he had loyalty for because of his obsession with the 'made' life and because of Tony's calculated move to ensure his trust when he helped Chris kill the cop who murdered his father. Tony loved nothing but himself and animals, and as Christopher once said--thats the man he's going to hell for.

She knew what she was part of, and there is certain rules and ethics that must be followed. Adriana cooperated because she was scared for him, and in the end she got fucked. And the cop who weaseled her way into her life did it deliberately, she knew Adriana was the only 'connection' to the family who was still pedestrian enough to be fooled by the FBI.
