The music is appropriate for what the uploader was attempting to convey. He wasn't simply recutting a trailer for The Shining. For whatever reason you seem to have missed that. If you'd taken a moment to read the video description, you'd see that this is modeled on the trailer for the Social Network.

I was studying Gorden Stainforths work on the film and his use of Penderecki and Gyorgy, Kubricks choice inspired by the Exorcist, taking this into account when very first viewing this upload I failed to see the connection, but what do I know i'm just dumb motherfucker and have no right to voice an opinion, this makes me dumb and retarded.

I have always associated The Shining with Radiohead's brilliant composition "Climbing Up the Walls" (more so than Creep), but nevertheless, this was a very well done video.

I find your music choice very appropriated to the movie. It alludes to the feeling of pressure and alienation felt by the character of Nicholson, the feelings of the little boy... Brilliant idea !

The editing is also perfect. Everything is very fluid and gives a very good preview of the movie. It allows to see how meticulous Kubrick was in his work and why this movie is a masterpiece. This is the best Shining fan-made video I have ever seen. Thank you for this. I admire your work.

This is probably THE best fan made Shining trailer I've ever seen. It really looks like a recently released trailer for 2010.
