@xjjeepcherokee Idle Air Control valve. clean it good, clean the throttle body good. if that doesn't fix it replace the IAC, it may be stuck. I know my '91 XJ runs way better after doing this

@rumswigger i got a 4.5" on my 99xj and i reccomend it. blown drive shafts are a pain in the ass on the trail, and the vibration on the highway isnt good for your rear yoke or u-joints. just a helpful tip if it isnt too late.you are probably gonna have to mod the t-case though. its worth it in the end cause it saves you money on possible damages. you can also save some cash and get a front driveshaft to use for your rear. its the same thing, believe it or not.

its a 94 and yeah its got the stock 27 spline 8.25 rear axle open. I haven't had any problems with the rear axle in the 7 years I've owned the jeep.
