I just watched this again and I want to emphasize that I think the actors are fantastic. VERY good. VERY talented. I would cast any one of them. It's the director's interpretation with which I take issue. An opinion. There's nothing "right" or "wrong" here.

Uhmmmm ... did this show lose some class? It's very, very good but I can see a very good drag show in many places. This is Broadway. The chorus should be performers striving to impersonate females, not boys proud to be in dresses. These ladies should be proud, yes, but dignified and elegant. There is something course and common about this delivery. Love the actors; question the director. It's just a matter of interpretation, I suppose, but I think I'm going to pass on this revival.

they are amazing!! my only complaint is that the tap choreography is a little elementary, i feel like on b-way they could have gotten a little more complex... the performers themselves are spectacular!
