I've been asked if I'm half white, Dominican, Brazilian, Indian, insert here, etc. My parents are both black. So apparently not all black people know their history, because I don't look black enough to many. I always have to explain to other black people that I'm a product of the African diaspora just like they are.

The average African-American has some percentage of white, but a lot of black people don't believe me.

As you claim that ur wife is mixed because she has great granddad that's "white". That's what a 100 years or so. If we decide to go way back then everybody is mixed and it won't serve any function.

I'm black and i have darkbrown eyes and short black hair. But my 2 sons Berreayll & Diquan (2 Years) and my daughter Chantelly (10 months) are your colour, brown eyes and brown cup hair. While my twin sons mother has also a dark skin and black hair. But Chantelly's mom is her colour. My 2 other daughters Raiya (6) and Roselya (1) are darker then i am and also has black hair. I'm now 23 and i'm gonna be a father of a 6th child, i think that this child also gonna be lighter then my other 5 kids.

Black Americans are about 20% white European on average. Some more, some less. How that gets represented in skin colouring seems to be anyone's guess. My friend's wife's mother was Shepherdic, he is red-headed. They have four children. The second oldest is really dark, the others are not at all, darker than their maternal grandmother was. I'm dominican of a very mixed ancestry, so I will never claim to be white (Even though I look mostly white.) or black, because I'm neither. I don't understand why there needs to be some race classification when some people are clearly of a mixed race. Why do people have to choose a side and call themselves black or white for that matter, lol? I don't understand where retarded people like the Hodge Twins come from.
