Not to take anything away from you, but one billion damage in this game is no challenge whatsoever. I maxed out an Ultimus and was doing nearly two billion with Rising Dragon, and that's not even counting what I did to my Cosmo Infinity.  Still, this was shortly after the game was released, so good job nonetheless.

on my file i have 8 level 19998 Gladiator on a legendary rank Lazer Z Sword level 20. Boy the attack on that weapon makes my Majin Dark X Slash X3 approach the 1000000, and hes not even level 1500 yet.

after you beat the final boss a new story will appear.. there you will be fighting lvl 100+ and higher.. throughout the story you can get axel from disgaea 2 , marona from phatom brave, asagi frm ugh... nowhere, prism rangers from disgaea 1 and than laharl and the gang (etna and Flonne) in disgaea 1 basicly their the 7th stg of the extra story.... their lvl 1500 plus the allys they have are lvl 1200 so you need ethier have good equips or be overlvled

Hmm...Is your Dark X Slash move X9 yet cuz the sp cost is too low. My X9 Dark X Slash uses 32000 sp so i'm pretty sure you could easily do over a billion damage if you upgrade it one more time.

You get Trapezohedron's from an item god in an arcadia(You can get an arcadia from item world in land of carnage). For Cave of Ordeals, to pass the topic easy, get a fist user and grind in 7-3 till your character is about lv 500. Go through a gravity fist, level it up. You should be able to take out any representative that gets in your way.

Here's what I have on my equipments:

Baal Sword: 500 Fencer and 5x19998 Gladiators

3xTrapehedrons: 500 Guardian and 5x19998 gladiators

This should definitely increase your damage pass 6 million. Also try casting braveheart on the character to boost attack.

Fencer enhances all stats of any sword. Guardian boosts all stats of any armor. Having them at max of 500 will boost item/weapon greatly.

Also go for dual stat innocents which result from mentor + 2 different innocents:

You can learn certain higher level moves if your characters are higher in levels. Also, there are different classes to one character. Check the create character option in the classroom to see if a new class appeared for your character. So in other words, levels and classes will gain access to new moves.

Puppy paw stick is an item you equip on someone. You kill the person you want get an item from with the puppy paw stick and there is a 20% chance the item will drop from the person killed. Look up "disgaea 3 puppy paw stick" and see a video of how it works.

Equip the puppy paw stick on a character. Go into Classworld and choose a low leveled character who will be gaining stats in classworld. Equip a weapon you want to clone on that low level character. When you go into classworld, look out for these clone like characters of that character. They will have the same equipped armor or weapon. Kill the clone with the puppy paw stick. You will have a 20% chance to get the armor or item to drop from the clone.

So in my case, I wanted to clone Trapehedron emblems. I got one through reverse pirating for an Arcadia and then stealing it from Item God 2 in Land of Carnage item world. I leveled it to 200 and made it perfect. I then equipped it on someone who I would use for classworld and then got someone else equipped with the puppy paw stick. I then killed the clones/dropouts with the puppy paw stick and if I was lucky, I would get the same equipped emblem that I had on my character off the clone.

You must increase the Strongest enemy bill for the regular Cave of Ordeals if you want to get to level9999 that way. You need a crap load of Staticians since they stack. I had over 21 300 staticians thanks to reverse pirating and item duplication. With that, you can get to high levels in a short time.

Staticians are innocents that help boost experience points receive. They increase the rate at which you level up. The max is 300 for one statician. Your experience will be 3 times the amount if you have a 300 statician on your weapon or armor. They stack, so if you have 4 300 staticians on your item, you get 12 times the experience therefore leveling up faster.

If you get access to Land of Carnage cave of ordeals 4 and just grind there with 21 staticians and no Strongest enemy bills passed, you can get to level 9999 in 4 battles. With maxed out enemy bills passed and around 32 300 staticians, you can from 1 to 9999 in one battle.

Yes, I do have a 500 Fencer. I also have a Guardian on each Trapehedron (spelling wrong, I know). That's why I only have 28 level 19998 Gladiators. This is without even buffing bravery on any other stats. That's still powerful. If he had more buffs, I would have done more damage.

How long did it take to perfect the items?

It took less than 2 hours to perfect Baal Sword and the same for Trapehedron because I breezed through item world. Perfecting an item is 10 times easier than in Disgaea 2. It took a lot more time to find the rank 39 items through reverse pirating though, not to mention the amount of time it took to get Gladiator and other innocents, subdue them, then multiply them using item duplication trick until I got 28 level 19998 gladiators.

Once I had my level 200 Trapehedron, I used item duplication again to duplicate the emblem 2 more times. So it took a while before I got 3 perfect emblems with maxed attack stats. Item duplication can take hours depending on luck with the Puppy Paw Stick (an item used to steal random equipments on people or clones in classworld, which has a 20% chance). But it's much faster than actually doing it the other way.
