The officer at the end is correct. He doesn't make the laws, he just enforces them, and that's a good thing. The last thing you want is police officers "thinking for themselves" (e.g. making up the laws as they go along). The folks serving lemonade were given every opportunity to avoid arrest, yet they continued to disobey the police--what do you expect? You can't just sell whatever you want, wherever you want without the proper permits.
"No vending on Capitol grounds" BWAHAHA! In that building right behind her they are taking bribes and bribing others, lying to the people and dishonoring thier oath of office every single day!
I see it like this we need to set up an event with 1000 strong of our own people armed with ar-15's, and then sell the lemonade if cops do not leave us a lone we let them know we will open fire if they try to arrest anyone.
@kloikrules we need order free speach help for everyone trillions of our $,£ tax BACK into the economy and not live in fear from police government corporations shit we dont know and media
In this case the police are correct, you can't have anybody who wants to set up booths on public land. If we allowed this to happen the parks would be full if people selling stuff. You wouldn't want to go to Yellowstone and there be a stand selling sun glasses every 10 feet. Public land has to have some regulations, private land should be left alone.
Total assholes breaking the law and calling it freedom...it is not assault...get your cameras out of her face...you could have it shoved into her face so that is assault...yes your being arrested for being law breakers'''lol! you assholes brought this onto yourself and so now you get to pay...they want to act like they are martyrs so go act like some in jail...that is where your scum belongs. I love the female cop...
the cop is dead right, he is just a human who is doing his job, his job is not to make the laws or repair the laws or ignore laws that he personally dislikes. this video is not about bad cops but about bad laws, it's sad that many commenters don't get it. although I think the policewoman's repeatedly pulling down the camera was not very polite and not ok, but in some way understandable in that situation.
@sollok80 The pigs are human, that means they have the ability to think and form their own opinion. I agree with you, yes these are bad laws, but the excuses “I was just following orders” is not acceptable. The NDAA bill makes selling and/or disturbing food illegal and private farms illegal. Bad laws have no effect unless someone chooses to enforce them. If you enforce these laws on the people your in the same boat with your programing is set to self -destruct.
The laws the law they were there to break it and act like dumb asses so the got what was coming to them... Put your self in the privet property owner do you want people coming and selling shit on your law think about it... Go cops!

@MrKurt1962 THESE policemen and women are tasked with enforcing the captiol grounds, they're not the DC local police that deal the thugs gangbangers and criminals.
@MrKurt1962 At what point did you see a 10 year old trying to sell lemonade? These are extreme left-wingers attempting to do non-violent protests, but they're going about it all wrong. What they're doing is actually illegal. Granted the police may have been a bit aggressive about it but it was illegal (no permit). You are also incredibly ignorant about the illegal immigrants, and should just stop talking before you make a bigger fool of yourself.

No it's illegal to sell ANYTHING with out a permit there...it's called vending. the people following the law have to get a vender's license, why do you think you're so special you can just do willy nilly what the fuck you want whenever you want? Just because this is a free country, it doesn't mean you can just fuck off and not follow rules.

People are so stupid. It's called there's codes so people do just pile up on the lawn there and do stupid shit. You can sell lemonade where it's legal to do so. @oreo10111 Those are third world countries full of dumbfucking 12th century retards. What is the 2nd amendment cuz you sure as hell are missing the point. I say put a cap in the asses of out of control cops. There TOO MANY laws and it's time to take back our lives.
What a bunch of low life spoilt assholes. They have some much freedom and what do they do they do with it? they complain that they dont have any freedom and waste every ones time.
go fuck yourself TheCopBlock and all there subscribers.
@Enslegiss What gave them the right to make that law? Government is just like the mob. Doesn't the mob make business owners pay for protection and if they don't something bad happens? So here, they have to pay the government or something bad happens. Cops are the samething as the mobs goons. I'm willing to bet that while those cops were there, someone was beaten, robbed (by someone other than the government) or raped or maybe killed, but they found this more important. 2nd amendment baby.
@Enslegiss Its to prove a simple point if a person wants to sell lemonade and another one wants to buy it, they cant do it because of other people completely unaffected by this are not ok with it
im all for getting the evidence of bad cops and what not.. but this is kind of dumb really. you are grown adults, i was thinking this was children. What adult insists on selling lemonade by the white house?? and yes there is a requirement for vending license... what if u were just handing out rat poison?
actually these laws are usually made through basic lobbing efforts from big business. First think about who this benefits, not the government because this kills small local businesses. Now if I was running a chain store such as McDonalds or Burger King the biggest competition is not other fast food chains but local independent businesses. Shutting down cheap, flexible, mobile food stands through these laws is a cheap way to muscle out politically weak competition.
If a police were to arrest me for disturbing others by just being there, I could fight back and then I get arrested for life just for defying the absurd. I love our country...
@planetary109 No its cuz you fought against a cop. Worst thing to do really. You just got from a misunderstanding into an actual heavy offense. And fighting against multiple cops never work no matter how much they do that in movies.Smart thing to do is to wait it out, get your lawyers and sue them for big bucks when they release you for not actually doing anything unlawful. But then the government loses money and economy goes down. Yeah this country does suck at times.
If the police don't like what they're doing, then they should just stay away. They just gave their cause more sympathy and support by arresting innocent kids.
DeptofFakeLawsEnTrapment apparently works for Mexican drug cartels like many that infiltrate the corrupt US police and "justice" department.. and the "we" he keeps referring to is clearly a criminal drug gang. He should be taken into custody and investigated for money laundering and drug smuggling.
Lemonade stands are illegal in America because the stands kids peddle their contraband from are an unregulated industry.
Unless kids want to spend time in Juvenile Detention they should know earning income without taxation is a criminal act against IRS code and therefore MONEY LAUNDERING; a felony in all fifty states.
If we had our way, we would send their parents to prison for a good while and let them think long and hard about their criminal acts of tax evasion by selling lemonade illegally.
@DeptOfFakeLawsEnTrapment hey, shut the hell up up, CRIMINAL IN UNIFORM, child abuser. it's your type who should sentenced to max security for life in a dark pit filled with sour lemonade that should never see light. "tax evasion" myass, you don't have a right to know what she declares as tax at the end of the year and the pitiful amount she gets now is none of your damned business. also better think "long and hard" about declaring yourself as "we" since that means you're also in with terrorists
Except for banksters who steal trillions, free commerce and lawful earning of poverty-level income shall not be tolerated.
Illegal-aliens and prospective welfare recipients are welcome to join our union, however should anyone, whether legal citizens or not, choose to start any entrepreneurial endeavor, the subject will be arrested on felony charges and detained at an incarceration facility as punishment for the crime of terrorism against the established rulers of law...
The CopBlock crowd knows the laws, so I would find it hard to believe they didn't know they were violating an ordinance. It's not about lemonade; it's about them being stupid and not cooperating. I'm sure they intended to get arrested to get attention. They actually think they're proving some kind of point. They should all just grow up. All they're doing is make fools of themselves and being a pain in the ass.
Arrested for selling lemonade? Give me a break. These idiots are doing nothing but being smartasses and taunting the police. Go to 1:03. The female officer tells the douchebags selling lemonade there is no vending on capitol grounds. That would be a city ordinance. The cops tried to be polite about it, but were taunted and ignored by these idiots who think the police are some kind of gestapo.
Now you know what Police is all about...and how you are treated in a police state..!!! You just need to slap these retards few times so that they can come to their senses.
It's not that you can't sell lemonade on capitol hill, you can't sell anything on capitol hill. If these kids were somewhere else, like downtown or on their own property, and THEN got arrested for selling lemonade, then I'd see the point of getting upset. You have a rule in place, you intentionally break the rule, and then bitch about being scolded for it? There are real abuses of power being done here that need our attention much more than this setup.
I agree that the police overreacted and let their emotions get in the way. But peaceful or not, if you break the law, you go to jail. It's not a hard concept.
@riddleman65 I agree with you but under the Constitution the highest law of the land by the way, what law did they brake? And just because it's the law should you have to go to jail? The Nazis had laws and so did the South. What makes a law worth enforcing?
Of course there's nothing in the constitution about vending on capitol hill, but state law prohibits it. Going to jail is idiotic and enforcing it is a waste of tax dollars, but saying the police don't have the right to arrest them is false.
@riddleman65 since US "law" is a worldwide joke and just a tool for criminals who want to commit their crimes behind a uniform or robes without fear of penalty, I don't see why you worship it and grovel to it.
@yinzjagoffs They choose selling lemonade because it seems so negligible a crime. A crime is a crime and they did it and got arrested. Unlawful business practices were taking place. The victim is the guy selling lemonade and has a permit for it as he is a law abiding businessman.
@zunedog31 Even if that so, the accessed has the right to face he's individual victim or victims in court. Without the right to face your accuser no defense is ever possible. I agree that the business with the permit is also a victim, but it is the State not his free market competition that has used the threat of force to contract him/her into having said permit. Permits are only good as a tool for using the hammer of Government to monopolize your hold over the market.
@yinzjagoffs Any way you slice it the truth is that they broke the law, I'm not talking about the legitimacy of the law. I will say again, they choose the most innocent act they could that was illegal to try to prove a point. A plan to tip the scales their way in an argument.
@yinzjagoffs go do something much bigger, but on this vid, its anything but about government hold over the market, it's about order and the effort to keep it ... fucktards ...
if there is no order, there would be a thousand lemonade seller, and less than a hundred buyer in that park ... fucking fucktards ... dimwit, bastards, fuckheads, shitheads
@pilus87 If there are only a hundred buyers why would there ever be a thousand lemonade sellers, dip-shit? You want order? You don't even understand how the natural organic order of free-market even works. Looks like someone when to Public (Government ) school.
@pilus87 Unfortunately, you can't tell them that, or anything for that matter. You can't reason with people like this, because they think of you as the enemy and nothing else. Anything you tell them will just be met with childish and smartass comments. They're just ignorant and have no grip on reality.
"its a free country mam"--- uh no it isnt not any more thanks liberals giving our rights and guns away. the founding fathers gave us inalienable right to bear arms to prevent this exact behavior from our govt and law enforcement. if these cops knew theyd be in shoot out every timke tried opress someone it would stop, thats why it didnt used to happen daily and why they gave us those rioghts. this is far from free country and the communist chinese citizens have more rights then we do now.
I'm confused. Why should you be allowed to sell lemonade? I agree with a lot of what you do yet this is stupid. Maybe I am missing something?

@Enslegiss What gave them the right to make that law? Government is just like the mob. Doesn't the mob make business owners pay for protection and if they don't something bad happens? So here, they have to pay the government or something bad happens. Cops are the samething as the mobs goons. I'm willing to bet that while those cops were there, someone was beaten, robbed (by someone other than the government) or raped or maybe killed, but they found this more important. 2nd amendment baby.

im all for getting the evidence of bad cops and what not.. but this is kind of dumb really. you are grown adults, i was thinking this was children. What adult insists on selling lemonade by the white house?? and yes there is a requirement for vending license... what if u were just handing out rat poison?
scarlette629 2 months ago
actually these laws are usually made through basic lobbing efforts from big business.

I love our country...
planetary109 3 months ago
@planetary109 No its cuz you fought against a cop. Worst thing to do really. You just got from a misunderstanding into an actual heavy offense. And fighting against multiple cops never work no matter how much they do that in movies.Smart thing to do is to wait it out, get your lawyers and sue them for big bucks when they release you for not actually doing anything unlawful. But then the government loses money and economy goes down. Yeah this country does suck at times.
Pokemariofan107 2 months ago

DeptOfLawEnforcement 3 months ago
@DeptOfFakeLawsEnTrapment hey, shut the hell up up, CRIMINAL IN UNIFORM, child abuser. it's your type who should sentenced to max security for life in a dark pit filled with sour lemonade that should never see light. "tax evasion" myass, you don't have a right to know what she declares as tax at the end of the year and the pitiful amount she gets now is none of your damned business. also better think "long and hard" about declaring yourself as "we" since that means you're also in with terrorists
Iraqgenocide2 3 months ago
Except for banksters who steal trillions, free commerce and lawful earning of poverty-level income shall not be tolerated.
Illegal-aliens and prospective welfare recipients are welcome to join our union, however should anyone, whether legal citizens or not, choose to start any entrepreneurial endeavor, the subject will be arrested on felony charges and detained at an incarceration facility as punishment for the crime of terrorism against the established rulers of law...
Poverty will be enforced.

There are real abuses of power being done here that need our attention much more than this setup.

zunedog31 4 months ago
@zunedog31 How about that there was no victim here and that no one has the right to put their hands on peaceful people.
yinzjagoffs 4 months ago
@yinzjagoffs
I agree that the police overreacted and let their emotions get in the way. But peaceful or not, if you break the law, you go to jail. It's not a hard concept.
riddleman65 4 months ago
@riddleman65 I agree with you but under the Constitution the highest law of the land by the way, what law did they brake? And just because it's the law should you have to go to jail? The Nazis had laws and so did the South. What makes a law worth enforcing?
yinzjagoffs 4 months ago
@yinzjagoffs
Of course there's nothing in the constitution about vending on capitol hill, but state law prohibits it. Going to jail is idiotic and enforcing it is a waste of tax dollars, but saying the police don't have the right to arrest them is false.
riddleman65 4 months ago
@riddleman65 Just because the law gives you the right to do something does not mean you should.

zunedog31 4 months ago
@riddleman65 i suggest you research the concept of jury nullification. It's the bedrock of all law in this country.
yinzjagoffs 4 months ago
@riddleman65 since US "law" is a worldwide joke and just a tool for criminals who want to commit their crimes behind a uniform or robes without fear of penalty, I don't see why you worship it and grovel to it.
Iraqgenocide2 3 months ago
@yinzjagoffs They choose selling lemonade because it seems so negligible a crime. A crime is a crime and they did it and got arrested. Unlawful business practices were taking place. The victim is the guy selling lemonade and has a permit for it as he is a law abiding businessman.
zunedog31 4 months ago

A plan to tip the scales their way in an argument.
zunedog31 4 months ago
@yinzjagoffs go do something much bigger, but on this vid, its anything but about government hold over the market, it's about order and the effort to keep it ... fucktards ...
if there is no order, there would be a thousand lemonade seller, and less than a hundred buyer in that park ... fucking fucktards ... dimwit, bastards, fuckheads, shitheads
pilus87 4 months ago
@pilus87 If there are only a hundred buyers why would there ever be a thousand lemonade sellers, dip-shit? You want order? You don't even understand how the natural organic order of free-market even works. Looks like someone when to Public (Government ) school.
yinzjagoffs 4 months ago
@pilus87 Unfortunately, you can't tell them that, or anything for that matter. You can't reason with people like this, because they think of you as the enemy and nothing else. Anything you tell them will just be met with childish and smartass comments. They're just ignorant and have no grip on reality.
