Anyway, the answer to this question of Imām al-Ḥassan and Muawiya is very easy.
1. Muawiya fought Imām Alī, who was khalīfa of Rasūl Allāh (and the Prophet said that whosoever rebels against the Khalīfa and Imām is a kāfir)
2. Imām al-Ḥasan gave allegiance to Muawiya because: a. his supporters abandoned him b. he wanted to show Muawiya's true face: so they made peace, and Muawiya promised not to choose his successor - and of course, he chose Yazīd and betrayed his pledge.

Hasan signing a treaty with mawiya does not disprove anything. ALL it does is exposes the person who had to abide BY the conditions in the treaty. Mawiya obviously disregarded every condition in the treaty. Muhammed pbuh also signed a treaty in hudaibiya which the pagans disregarded later on. So does that mean Mohammed pbuh made a mistake? Some.....

@Shi3aaqueen I'm not Allah, I am Abdullah & I read in Qur'an that Allah will not forgive those who associate partners with him. And we know how much shias commit shirk and kufr in day to day life.
Excuse me, we muslims don't believe in stupid democracy. Allah said in Qur'an that if you obey most on earth, they will mislead you from right path. He also said most people are misguided. democracy is based upon what majority think and want.
