I agree with the singing being gorgeous but what is wrong with the kid with the big glasses? Believe you me we didn't have high refractive index plastic lenses back then. If you were very short sighted you wore heavy glasses - and I still have the scars to prove it.

This is news to me also. Look at the video of Hans Gillesberger giving one-on-one training to a boy with the song "Komm Lieber Mai" and you will see one of the many reasons the Vienna Boys Choir was so outstanding before 1998.

Thanks for maestervoci's comment. This is the first time I know that the traditional vocal lesson once was once discontinued. I'm glad to know that they continue this lesson again. I wish WSK will be better.

Very nice duet, performed back in the "good old days" before experimentation with the status quo dragged the choir into putting such music on the shelf due to the fact that individual voice lessons had been discontinued. Thankfully, the WSK has reinstituted such voice lessons.
