Abuse towards women or children is an unjustifiable act. There is no excuse for commiting such an offense.

Having said that, another issue which is not spoken of, is getting these men some help. I do not believe that all of these men struck their wives just because. With economic woes and the reductions of employment, stress is higher than ever. Some men feel helpless, and when helplessness and testosterone mix, these urfortunate events occur.

Many of these videos are put together very well. I have yet to see anything about women being the aggressors. Why is it there are no advocates for male victims?

There are advocates for male victims. Call any of the domestic violence hotlines (even if they're advertised as for women) and they will put you in touch with support for male survivors. The reason you hear more about violence by men against women is that the overwhelming majority of the time it is men who are committing the violence. Maybe if women were physically larger than men it would be the other way around, but it's not.

I am sorry you are having a hard time. The domestic violence shelter where I volunteer serves dozens of women. We have groups for men, and actively advertise them. One man has shown up. The men's center has a survivor's group; four men attend that. Women are just as ashamed as men to be assaulted and raped. It's horrible for anyone. The men who are assaulted are usually assaulted by other men, and the women who assault usually assault other women. It's a matter of relative size and power.

I can't help her because my house is small My two grandkids suffer I have offered to take them but, I think its she wants to go now because I told her she has to help herself then others will help and its not because someone likes it when somebody treats you like this they twist it to make it feel like it is your doing something wrong the best thing is to get couseling after, I stayed for 11 years but I got out

At my college there is this campus TV program where these young men talk about women in a degrading way, and force feeding women who have anorexia. One guy (the fat guy with glasses) used to write in the MaineCampus paper and once he said that UMaine "had too many fat chicks on it". check it out:
