Hey this is so very good, crisp clear notes, were as Mr. J. Hendrix did over distort on occasions I think.. My dream would be for my son Jack, age 18 this year to play drums with this band for a session. Well you can dream? Steve Tims from drum academy is teaching him and up to grade 8....Comments welcome and listen to Jack - on You tube "double yellow lines - beat it"...
I saw Steve Linton in 1981 supporting the Seet. A young confident guy fronting his own band. I was just learning guitar then and wondered how he could do all that intricate guitar lead stuff. Wondered what happened to him. And found him here!
brings back a lot of memories!!embassy suite, nme contest, guinnes court, seeing bethnal(legends that never made it ).does steve still do come along with me ? now that the heat is on ,sarah smilesand another song eve ?a true legend,i have some photos of steve with long hair and playing with his teeth!!
I was Steve's first bassist. We used to do this(and Steve's own stuff) all over the shop in the 70's and everybody loved it. I was proud to be in the band and let's be honest, the bloke's a bit of a legend. I won't be embarassing him by saying this as I doubt he's ever been within 30 feet of a computer, lol.
ask him if he remebers me do you?? we used to follow him absolutly everywhere but i was the pretty one l Emma Eames i used to see him in my local in wix essex at first then i followed beverly and the crew! i loved it when he did it with his teeth does he still do that lol! and the bloke with the glasses??
hi steve made it to the big time then get 2back the 80 . if your not 2 busy come and see Englands Pride>you might req some old Faces.Pete Haggart Drummer> Colchester.
I see what you mean but it is handy for getting gig dates out. I would like to see him play again some time so if you know any dates, please post them

What a joy to see that white strat again after almost 30 years, if it's the same one! Beautiful augmentation of a classic.
