@xVonMeeeeezy I used iMovie '08 for this and I use iMovie '09 for my newer videos - it has more features. If you have one of the newer Macs, you should have iMovie preinstalled on your computer.

yes, the drum part is different. My brother can't play 16th notes for that long because he's just not strong enough. That's why we changed the drum part, and added the two crashes one after another because so that it wouldn't sound so poorly, but we think the crashes sound cool. I think it's about the same speed as the original (not live but studio) recording, though. Thanks for the comment anyway

Cymbals shouldn't be horizontal because the angle of impact can dent the edges. If you want to pull sound out, make sure the stick and come in at angle angle that will strike both the top and the edge to pull the maximum tone out of it.

Thanks for the suggestion. The cymbals are almost horizontal now (because of the felt being deformed a bit) - do you think that would be enough? Note that my cymbals are really, really thick.

I made them horizontal because I've seen tons of punk drummers do that (Erik Sandin from NoFX, Bobby Schayer from Bad Religion, Lucky Lehrer from Circle Jerks etc.) so that the crashes can be over the toms and it's way easier to play them fast one after another, like right left right and back on the hi-hat.

Not that I wanted to be a wiseass here no you're way better than me and my brother, it's just that we mostly play punk music and I thought that these drummers are not Travis Barker (he only cares about how his set looks) so they must have their cymbals placed horizontally for a reason. I thought this was about the sound and the attack

And yes, I love these cymbals... The hi-hat cymbals are awesome, the ride isn't bad, and the 16" crash sounds super-awesome. The 18" crash could be a bit better, it's just OK, but hey these are the cheapest Zildjian cymbals out there (that's a ZBT Rock pack - rock are thicker than normal cymbals so they are durable, too).

And one more thing the crashes sound awesome when they are placed horizontally, when they are placed at an angle, they don't have nearly as much attack and they just sound cheap

He can play them without ANY problem, it's just that we would have to play this song slower (I told him to play this song slower and to play sixteenth notes, but he said he didn't like slow songs) because hey he is still 7 and he is not ultra-strong and ultra-fast. Oh one more thing, we will try to post a cover of Gone Away by The Offspring in a couple of days, this song is not fast and he will have to play sixteenth notes in that one (we will also try Self Esteem - this song has a pretty hard drum line). I just meant that it's like telling him to play "Linoleum" or any other fast song by NoFX. Of course he can play this beat but not in such tempo. Thanks for the comment one more time!
