ur not supposed to use corn no more its bad for the digestive systems......heres how ucatch em get a loaf of white bread carp like the sugar smell in white...put the insides out in water to attract carp and fold about a 3inch piece of crust in half and then throw it out there
@TopAZangler You could use a simple bottom fishing rig, with bread or corn as starter baits. I call carp by throwing a little corn in the area I am going to fish.
I CANNOT WAIT TO GO FISHING AGAIN. i caught a big 2 foot pike by a bridge near my house, I was in the water, so i saw it hit the line, and i flipped out!
Have you tried crayfish tails? All the things I know that people can catch carp with are, doughballs, bread, nightcrawlers (worms), corn and boiled potatoes, crayfish tails, and carp boilies. Those are all the best baits for carp I know. If you need help making cornmeal or boilies, there are many videos on youtube to help. Be quiet when fishing carp because they are known to get scared easily and be patient. You will soon get one. When I started carp fishing it took me a while to get one.
hey so is that like a normal day ? I have a pond by my house that is about half the size as the one in the vid and while i'm croppie fishing i ussually see 10-20 carp in one spot surfaceing. should i use a bobber or bottom rig for that? its only like 10 ft deep tops.
Well, if the pond is 10ft maximum like you said, you probably should use a bobber since it is shallow. You could use the bread to float on the water when they are surface feeding. Don't use a bottom rig when the carp are surface feeding because that won't do any good. You use bottom rigs in lakes, dams, and deeper places like that. Oh, and carp are usually scared so be a little quiet because you might scare them.
Thanks buddy. Do you catch other things here or is it just carp? Lotta lakes I see like that have huge bluegill and some small but pretty bass in them.
Hamburger and cheese best carp bait out there

I know, I haven't been fishing very much myself. It is getting cold. Winter is on the way.
YoungAngler11 2 years ago
by the way, what did you use to fish for the carp and was this in the morning or afternoon?
asianwannabeamerican 2 years ago
I used the same as usual. Bread. It was in the afternoon.
YoungAngler11 2 years ago
did you just get a piece of bread and stick it on a hook?
TheEliteFisherMan 2 years ago
No, I roll the bread into a kind of like doughball. It will stay well on the hook if you roll it enough. Then you you slowly insert it on the hook.
YoungAngler11 2 years ago
Thanks buddy. Do you catch other things here or is it just carp? Lotta lakes I see like that have huge bluegill and some small but pretty bass in them.
asianwannabeamerican 2 years ago
Yeah, we catch some bass there and sometimes bluegills get the bread when we are carp fishing.
