My bg is greek but I was born in Aus, so why would I call myself Greek? How can my allegiance be to Greece when I'm living in Australia? I don't pay Greek taxes, I don't use Greek roads I haven't even been to Greece. Having said that I'm proud of where I was born but also proud of where my ancestry is from. That's how it should be. It's like Aussies saying I'm really a pom because that's where my ancestry lies.

I love these ads. It's a joke. And the dude who said "us wogs" is a stubbie short. In Europe the term wog is potentially THE most racist thing you can say. Next to the n word. I can hardly even write it as it offends me as an Italian Australian. This is fun, clever and a step up from the usual tele ad. Well done to the planners, creatives and account managers who pulled it off.
