I have read that this pedal sounds sterile compared to the original script, is this correct? I was hoping they would be the same considering the retro is based of the MXR circut plan. Also is this a bit brighter than the EHX Small Stone? I like that pedal but I would prefer something with a volume and depth knob.
This or the Earthquaker devices? Both are in my price range. I'm primarily playing ambient music and stoner rock, think Kyuss meets Ryan Farish and Brian Eno, but played on guitar.
Doesn't sound like a phaser, more like a Vibe pedal in chorus mode. Also, Breathe was played through a Uni-Vibe, SRV and Trower as well. Why buy a phaser for those sounds? Cheapo's and bar bands will love these, I sure don't

Behringer PH9 is alsoo good,plus it's not plastic it's cast-metal peolple hate behringer coz they are made plastic....but what if from the beggining they are made of metal??? will people look at them like pice of trash pedals???? i mean, think of it! but now they are starting to make metal case pedals...the proof of that is in the release of ''V'' vintage series...for those haters out there listen to the sound! don't look at the physicality of a pedal...

I bought a Morrison Audio Equipment phaser which had that volume boost. It made it unusable and I returned it. Sounded sweeter than this one though. Probably my Gibson's sound sweeter than the Strat in this demo.
i just got the rs stereo chorus its simply the best ive ever used since its a cpoy of the ce-1 and im a huge brian may fan u can go wrong with it its spot on for what i want
