i just got rom 6.1. so far everything is good. but i found that i have no Lite'ning wallpaper on lock screen. and why the call key button is still standard type.

Hey so i went to ur site, followed the steps and and updated Lite'ning ROM. But now everytime i turn on my phone, an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle appears below the galaxy s2 logo.. Could u tell me what that means and how to get rid of it?

P.S. I already cleared the cache in recovery mode.

@vegito1712 it means that you have a custom rom on the phone its nothing to worry about and if you keep the phone on then it doesnt mean anything to be honest. you can rest the flash counter with a jig they have for sale on their website

- How do you set a Lite'ning wallpaper for you LOCKSCREEN (you have the lightning wallpaper there). I can only set for normal background.

- Where did you get that dock? I still got the standard dock...

Hi Josh, Great video. Quick question for you. Do you get 3G on the phone? I have the Lite'ning ROM 6.1, but can not get TMobile 3G on it at all. I only get Edge and this is a phone that I got unlocked from Europe. Are you using AT&T and if so, do you get 3G on that network? It says that the SII uses 2100 MHz which should work (I think) on TMobile US, but not sure. Any ideas on APN settings would be great. I may have to get rid of this wonderful phone if I cannot get 3G to work on it.

I got a problem. I flashed this rom and everything is fine except the lock-screen. The one when you lock you'r phone is still the stock or the one i chose before the flashing and i cant change it to litening wallpapers. Anyone help?

And does this rom adds custom contact list and sms list or its stock?

honestly to tell u guys.. i already tested all 4 top custom rom on my SGS2

CyanogenMod7 ROM - Lite'ning ROM - MIUI ROM - Villain ROM

After using all these 4 custom ROM.. My final choice which ROM im going to stick is ... LITE'NING ROM.. ( Lite'ning ROM v5 ).. im not talking about how fast it is..but how SMOOTH and STABLE and with LESS BUGG/PROBLEM. And it safe my battery a lot compare to other rom..( with same widgets and setting use )

I love it! I bought my SGS II two months ago, one week later I tried to install this ROM. It works perfectly!! Now I have flashed the Version 4.1 and I couldn't be happier with my smartphone. The screen-reactions are fluently and the apps work more liquide.In addition the battery life is increased. I would purpose this ROM to every S.GSII-Owner. It's almost perfect (nothing and nobody on earth is perfect, don't forget it;)).

Hi. I am a total noob - is there a walkthrough about how to do this ? I mean a total noob walkthrough for a noob who doesnt even know what flashing or rooting even is.

I just bought the S2 and although blown away with the quality and speed I am pretty disappointed with the battery life. I just plugged the fone in to my lappy and installed Kies told me I am running KE2 and should up to KE7. I can do that much but need to know the exact steps with this Lite'ning FLASH.

@tromain27 That is annoying right!? Best thing to do is just to perform the root then upgrade. There is an article on XDA about which root to use to do this and I need to just make a video on how to do it as well.

@xtrememorph As mentioned, I use it to kill an app that's locking up or problematically quickly. The one click widget is the ONLY reason I use it and I use to kill buggy apps instead of using the on board task manager that can take 3-4 clicks.

i'm currentl running Lite'ning 1.4 on my GS2 and i can easily get 24 hrs usage out of it now with medium to heavy usage. it would have been nice if you showed us your battery usage data and also can u do one of these videos for Cognition which IMO is the most feature filled ROM on the SGS2
