I couldn't care how fast the GT-R is i would rather have a Cayman S than the GT-R its just a Nissan. And besides the 911 is decent looking, comfortable and its got So much more character.
I love love love this car. I am a huge fan of Porsche. I love that car styling and performance, although one thing. A Porsche just has to have a wing in the back to look good to me. In my opinion Porsche is just one of those cars that need a spoiler to complete it. Like for Example the Lancer Evo's and Subaru STI's both need spoilers to look good. Other than that.. Bought a 997 Turbo in December '07. Beyond a doubt, it's the best car I've ever owned. No other car that I've driven compares for its unique combination of power, style, size, craftsmanship, driving experience, reliability, character and build quality. Phenomenal machine.
i think its just amazing how much technical engineering goes into a road car, be it a porsche or a skoda - try building it from scratch and you'll appreciate it soo much. I love this vid, as it illustrates so clearly how it works.
I personally like the porsche 997 line i think that all that power from a six cylinder engine. i think if they used V12 engines like ferrari uses they would be faster than the rest of the other car makes models.

Consider the maneuverability and handling aspects, not just torque and power to weight ratio. A Skyline is amazing in just about every way, but I think in reality with all things considered, a 911 Turbo is quicker.

2. both have _very_ reliable engines (the Radical SR3 has a Hayabusa engine, the Ariel has a Honda Civic Type R engine),
3. both are engineered to support more Gs while cornering than the 911 Turbo can even achieve.

Your kidding right? Hp is the same, weight is the same. both are AWD. The porsche is Way better looking and has much more history.

Consider the maneuverability and handling aspects, not just torque and power to weight ratio. A Skyline is amazing in just about every way, but I think in reality with all things considered, a 911 Turbo is quicker.
