Sealing Wefts Tutorial

I used the Aleene's Stop Fraying to seal my wefts. Is it supposed to be sticky when it dries? Does that go away?

When do you wash the hair?

okay i have a question about this .. when you wash your hair once you have the weave in & you've sealed the weft ... would the sealant mess up your hair ? like does it becoming wet again .. ahh i hope you understand what im trying to say lol

@deelovebabiee :: I understand...lol...but yes the sealant will get wet but NO it won't ruin the hair. as your hair dries, so will the sealant. :)

How much shedding do you have after using this product?

Sorry it took so long...My stylist sews around the wefts , as do many other weavers I know, so it causes no extra issue....If you sew through the wefts then you may experience some difficulty...

hello i have a question i wanted to know if i could seal the whole weft with out it being cut. Would it shed if i seal with out it being cut? thanks

Depending on how well the wefts are constructed you could not seal and have no shedding but sealing is recommending whether you cut the wefts or not...

I used Aleene's Ok to Wash but you can use any Stop fraying product from Joann's fabric store or Michael's craft store...

Dam Peach even with the video quality being a little fuzzy your skin looks great. Your water intake must me through the roof. Great video I hate sealing wefts

I think people are using acrylic sprays...I know in the thread title "Sealing looks like this" there is a picture of the closure sealant..
