Why should it give solutions....Nobody will listen anyways......People were told for years the housing market was going to crash...Nobody listened and it happned....duh.....So I dont blame him....like they say...America doesn't do anything until it is a crisis.....1972 and early 80's should have been a clue about oil....Instead...my generation has to try and fix it when should have been done when we were born..... you fucking old greeding spending fucks.
What was that other one where Greenspan made a fool of himself? They were talking about lowering interest rates and the interviewer said something like "So you'd rather give the money to those playing the Stock Market than those saving in a bank account?" to which Greenspan replied something like, "Well, that's the end result but not our intention".
People are not informed about the economy and so when someone tells them the truth they don't know how to deal with it... so, they laugh. History will be kinder to Mr. Paul I think.
True. Most mainstream films are dumbed down with the notion that the people watching will mostly be those that aren't actively engaged in socio-economic matters or reality for that matter...I liken that with the reason why they would laugh at Ron Paul when he proposes the idea of abolishing unconstitutional agencies and the like. Many probably thought their Federal Reserve notes were as good as gold before seeing the film.
Thanks for the review. Pretty much what I exected. I will tell you this, I am sick and fucking tired of people laughing at Ron Paul and his message. The next jagoff that does this in front of me is going to lose some teethe.
Rudy giuliani needed to be punched long ago for this. He was so rude in the debates. I'll never forget the question Ron Paul got on "electability" and the outburst of laughter from giuliani before Ron Paul answered. That's one SOB I'd like to see get punched!

the laughter with Ron Paul was two fold (I live in Texas, so many there had RP shirts on).
The first laugh was his bumper sticker. Something like
"Don't steal! The government hates competition!"
People that have never seen it laughed at that.
The second laugh came after RP said that if he treated his patients like Greenspan treated the dollar, his patients would die.
The long silence and Greenspan's stare brought laughter as well.
Now, if there was laughter simply for RP on air; ignorance

Certainly in the one clip, they were laughing at Greenspan.

That same ignorant laughter will be the cause of our collapse.
