I would not have used my left hand to initially grab the weapon either, the shooter had his right hand focusing the weapon at my face. I would have instead used my right hand, I could then pull the weapon over my head to my right side, and place my left hand/arm on the back of his right arm while holding the weapon still with my right, and have an arm hold position of the shooter being to easily force him to the ground, or brake it.

all you have to do is try to get the slide out of battery a little bit, some guns even less, but no more than a .25 of an inch open and the gun is trigger is disconected from the sear. even in a striker fired gun like a glock. just push the muzzle back and hold it there then get down to the self efense fight part. this is a fact the gun will not fire with the slide out of battery. but make sure you got it open enough.

The video is full of crap because the wrist was not bend in a way that open the hand. If it was done in the correct way, there would have been no way to depress the trigger. Accidental discharge are still possible, but i would take that over being dead anything.

all you have to do is try to get the slide out of battery a little bit, some guns even less, but no more than a .25 of an inch open and the gun is trigger is disconected from the sear. even in a striker fired gun like a glock. just push the muzzle back and hold it there then get down to the self efense fight part. this is a fact the gun will not fire with the slide out of battery. but make sure you got it open enough.

@IndicaPro Nice, I was just gonna ask what the hell to do if he had a Glock. But there is a fact that actual guns are hard to pull the slide back on, atleast the ones I've loaded. I have fired a Glock but then someone else cocked it for me, so on the hammer fired one are most practical to stop the hammer.
But when will I get in one of those situations? I'm a Norwegian for fuck sake, if it happened they would have an automatic rifle like fucking Breivik, that fucker.

You are absolutely right, but a fucked up hand seems much better than a 9mm in the forehead. Still gives you a chance to survive, but I would say that this execution "style" is not what they would do: They would shoot from the sides or back exactly because of this and the fact that the executor must endure the stare of the victim (which is much more dangerous for the organisation he is working for than a krav maga specialist. Consciousness is bad for this bizz)

Yeah, because being dead is a better option. When engaging in combat you have to be committed.
The video is full of crap because the wrist was not bend in a way that open the hand. If it was done in the correct way, there would have been no way to depress the trigger. Accidental discharge are still possible, but i would take that over being dead anything.

@JamesLandrum not at all... holding the slide hard enough woul prevent the slide from cycling, your hand would be fine, they'd fire one bullet and then the gun would need to be manually cycled to fire again, it's really effective to just grab a gun and stop the slide from cycling a new round if all else fails. What's the alternative? Kiss your ass goodbye?

It's a much better option then not knowing what to do and shitting in your pants and die. At least you have a chance to survive. Even if it's less than 5% it worth's trying.
