MARKO4166, really that's impressive. O, well I guess it's actually not because that card cost at least 100$ more than this one. So, congrats for being an ignorant douche bag =) Have any questions, comments? Pm me.
what did you end up gaining in performance? Also how much higher did you overclock your video card from the SSC Spec? I currently own EVGA 8800GT SuperClocked Editions and there running at 725/1800/2000 and they are rock solid no crashes. I found that if you buy stock Overclocked Edition of any video card- those are usually the higher quality GPU's that come from the factory and will almost always overclock higher, thats why your paying the extra money- for a higher grade GPU.
Because it either is a lame brand or your lost, if it was any quality at all it would have with a 4pin to 4-pin Molex connector or your PSU should have a 4 pin connector ready to connect into the card, plugins sould be near the sinde closest to the face "Facing inside your computer" left hand side at 1:18
The 9800gtx uses 2 6pin connectors.... I know cuz i have one this exact card the EVGA 9800GTX its goood:) Want to buy another to get 3 screens working together, running 2 at the moment
what 9800 gtx + has the best air cooler on it? in the future, i will install water cooling and are there gtx 285's or something that have the water blocks pre-installed?
my 3870's screws that hold the cooler were so small that the only way to open them was to use razer blade, and that's why i almost cut my fingers off lol
Hey Trubritar, been watchin ur vids for a while now but just wondering what do u do with ur old gaming equipment??? Dont wanna sound vegging or anythin but i just wish i cld afford all of this amazing GFX!! Gotta put up with an 8600GT at the moment. Anyway thanks for everything!!
I did watch the video, and you left out so much stuff. I mean it's a good thing that you trying to help people and I'm not busting on you for that, but just make sure you have everything in the next video.
hey t few newb questions 1> what temps where you getting with the block. load/idle 2> I have inflow hose on top nozzle and out on bottom is that okay? 3> how tightly should I screw block in? 4> did you find the wieght of the block affecting or bending card?
man, could you send me a GTX 280! Lol. What do You do for a living! please tell me. I am 13 and i just got into computers and i love it. I wish i could foul around with that expensive stuff.
trub... my koolance block came with a group of heat pads? did yours??? some are white and some are black any advice on which to install and where????? anyone?
Thanks ... I was thinking of using both.. sadly i order the wrong nozzles. but I am using my old koolance 7900gtx block and it keeps it cool as the stock fan on load 60C on AOC 55 on COD 4 no sure if this block will make things lol...
what did you use to clean off your old thermal compound? What I did with my CPU/heatsink is took some vodka and cleaned it off with some force. It worked but probably much better ways to do it.
All GPU's are tested at the manufacturing plants, typically the top 10% higher clockable GPU's that pass the tests are incorporated in the top clock cards. It's like CPU's, there are Diamonds and coal. The diamonds OC to bizarre new hights and the coals just meet the mark.
hey man. Im getting the vantec sting ray water cooling kit. and the vga water block is pretty small. do u need to have that big of a one? and the kit includes one but it is small compared to that one. And does the evga 9800 gtx have to have the ram sinks removed?
cheers for teaching me how to remove the fan/heatsink anyone have any idea where i can buy that watercooling set in the uk? or one that supports sli like the koolance one?
wow dude, i like just subscibed to u 2day and i am checkin out ure vids, all i can say is BADASS lol, this summer i am buildin a comp and i will hopefully have a 790i ultra/newGT280 or 2 if possible/randomRAM/and that cooling u have, that cooling setup u have in the crysis cruncher is so awesome
im relaxed, im just telling that the editing is really bad. kitch transitions - looks like trying all of em, clean cut or simple cross-fade would be visualy more usefull . whats the point of that bouncy blury text effect? its pointless and distracting. the music doesnt corespond with the vid. and it should be cutted way more better, for example taking off the screws_why on the earth isnt that cutted off to the point when theyre all off ?
Youre Right...The video was made in haste...I do understand that you cannot please everyone all the time and everyone's a critic in their own right...I was just trying something different in this video...I just appreciate you taking the time to give me feedback.
another class video, lol warrantry who cares if you damage the card i managed to get my 2900xt refunded after uv liquid spilt onto the top of it all i did was clean the card, put original heatsink back on and they were convinced that i hadnt ever touched the card lol.
Yes it is possible and depends on the ambient Temp. The advantage with the Reserator XT is that its completely external and you can even place it in front of an AC unit to chill it down a little.
The perfect solution would be 2 seperate cooling loops.
You will be surprized, the Reserator XT is a capable product...Its not as radical as some of the others out there but still does the job well.
The new Crysis Cruncher has the Reserator cooling 3 9800 SSC's in 3 way SLi...Fluid temps very rarely get above 30'c unless there is intense benchmarking or serious gameplay going on
you should have spoke it rather than put the words in and pointed with your finger! when i first started watching i thought "cool hes going to talk us through" then the music came on and i was like "ooooh nooooooooo" lol.
