So people who are skilled at making money will either spend it and be taxed, or invest it and help grow the economy the natural, sustainable way it was meant to be. So people who are skilled at making money will either spend it and be taxed, or invest it and help grow the economy the natural, sustainable way it was meant to be. Also, roads get the majority of their funding from the gas tax. Also, our military spending should be cut by a vast margin. We have the atlantic and pacific oceans as barriers to easy invasion. The first and largest group has good intentions but is either too incompetent or intellectually lazy to see the negative and thoroughly counterproductive consequences of its policy. The second group is purely motivated by power and probably has a fairly good idea of the negative consequences. It's simple, if you have no ethics or morals and just want power, which party would you join? The one that grows government!
