I don't see how suspending Ballard is doing anything. The awkwardness in the locker room itself will be enough to teach him, and his idiocy against his own team shouldn't punish the rest of the team by suspending him. Not saying I wouldn't bench him if I'm the coach, but still I don't think the suspension is necessary; lets focus on more important stuff, like Ovechkin being a fuckin' turd again.

Now as far as ovie goes thats the second major he pulled in the last few games. i think that the nhl should make example and at least suspend him for two games.What Keith Ballard did was ugly and bad and should be suspended for at least 5 games. Färjestad did really well last year, they were dominant (iirc) during the regular season and went 4-0 against all teams in the playoffs until they did only slightly worse against HV71 in the finals.. i think going from playing in the best team around to playing in a cellar-dweller team is rough on wallin and gunnarstafsons (that one stuck) confidence. i think this and all the losses has made gunnerstafsson think a bit too much while playing

Ovie : Any player given a game misconduct will have their footage taken a look at. Ovie is a dangerous player when he plays the body and should be given 2-3 games to keep him in check. And this is coming from an Ovie fan.

Ballard : Send him down to the AHL for as long as Vokoun is out and then once Vokoun is back, bring him back up and sit him in the press box.

Wallin was used to being a leading figure in Färjestad and somewhat in Tre Kronor. I don't know but maybe he needs to be the center of attention to perform. Or maybe he just ain't cut out for north american hockey. On Gustavsson; I think he's done ok so far, he has overplayed a few situations though. He could use some help from the defense. I don't watch too many whole games but from the ones I have watched and from highlights the Toronto players look way too weak around their own crease.
