  • This stuff is very biased and these people are not experts of psychology nor they are experts with medical use of the brain. Not even the people who create these products know very much.

  • anti depressants have terrible side effects after getting off them, but only for a short period. It's pretty common.

Everyone will have different affects with the pills, I try prozac and all it does is give me more energy and lower my anxiety, although it doesn't help dealing with problems since you must do that yourself.

My diet is fine, most healthy than others, and I do not take drugs. Everything I eat is mainly organic and I grow my own food.

Went through most of life of abuse/trauma

  • Depression is another bs disease caused by the garbage we eat & the drugs wetake. It is also a major factor that 60-70% of our water supply is fluoridated & they have 90% of people believing taking fluoride drops & using fluoridated toothpastes is a normal thing. FLUORIDE IS SODIUM FLUORIDE WHICH IS RAT POISON, which the NAZIs used to dumb down the people in concentration camps. Also all those ANTI-depressants are FULL OF FLUORINE substances..no wonder they don't work, lets open our eyes people!

  • so.. your basically saying that taking anti depressants are another form of suicide.

  • Hey people who suffer from depression research the benefits of cannabis!

    It has helped me. :)

  • Look up the medical documentary called:

    The Marketing Of Madness

  • This truthful medical documentary reveals the real truth about the Big Pharmasutical companies

  • diagnosed with "drug induced lupus" I think my 20 yrs use of nortyptiline is the cause.

  • Depression isn't a sickness, it's an emotion. You don't take medication for feeling happy. So why would you for depression/anger or anything else?

  • @lionheart209 Being happy doesn't negatively affect your every day life. Depression isn't just "feeling sad." it's deeper. along with therapy and lifestyle changes, medication can be a wonderful tool for people suffering from depression.

  • @NicoleApparatusss On the contrary it is just feeling sad and down. On an amplified level. Medication should be a rare treatment for it. Don't just repeat what the doctors and internet tell you.

  • @lionheart209 Depression is not like a sort of extreme bereavement or something. At least not in my case. I just felt my brain crack. And I was in denial for like six months after that. And I have to say, Lexapro has done more for me in 3 weeks than psychologysts, gyms and natural remedies over six months.

  • @lionheart209 Wow, really ? You think I'm naive enough to believe everything I'm told ? No. It's called personal experience.

  • @lionheart209 It IS an illness allright. Caused by emotional problems and all, but it IS an illness.

  • nice, their drug dealers, thanks wallstreet

  • Not only do the doctors know these things don't work and causing mass destruction but the government knows too. Peter Breggin has repeatedly spoken to congressional sub-committees but they never do anything. It is quite sick. I think we can drop the pretense at this point is that psychiatry is trying to help people. Psychiatry is a pharma scheme at best to a eugenics program at its worst. Straight evil.

  • @scottyb453 YEP EVIL IS THE WORD

  • tell us anything and we'll believe it.

  • antidepressants arent innocent drugs.ı became violent and manic,ı was almost killing my mother.stay away from antidepressants

  • all of this has continued,im here nearly four years later, having gone back on it,still suffering pain, anxiety, muscle twitches, spasms, flushing.although its better than it was.ive got down to 1 fifth of a tablet over the past 2 years,i do think these ssris are evil.they ruin peoples lives.every doctor told me there is no such trhing as wthdrawll from antidepressants.i recieved no help.even my own family dont believe me.everyday i have to cope with having my life ruined by so called professionals.

  • @paulopezz message me if you need help. I have managed to come off a high dosage Seroquel prescription (which I think is considered even harder than paxil to stop, anyway I can relate to what you are sayin'). It's the hardest thing, but the most rewarding. It takes time and courage though.

  • @philinmotion thanks for taking the time to message me.it sounds like you ve had a really bad time too.are you completely off now?i just looked up Seroquel now.it looks like your probably right about it being worse than paxil.i havnt heard of it before.paxil is called seroxat in this country(UK)thats supposed to be harder than prozac to get off.the amount of pain and mental torture iv had is mad.but im sure you know.well done for getting through.did you have any help from family or friends?

  • @paulopezz I completely came off it without any help. it was the hardest thing, but it's do-able. if you want to know more about it, just send me a private message.

  • @philinmotion hey man i really need to talk to you again weening off antidepressants how are you feeling being drug free is everything normalized? send me a personal message.

  • i tried getting off prozac,40mg a day cold turkey.my doctor told me it was safe to do cos it has a long half life in the body.12 weeks later i was out of my mind unable to fuction,i suffered the most excrutiating pains in my back, like a hot knife, all over body cramps ,extreme body heating flushing, thoughts of uncontrolable violence,to myself, others, dizziyness, sickness, face swelling, skaking, shivering, massive headaches neck aches that lasted for days, terrible frightening nightmares.

  • @paulopezz exactly what I experienced from stopping Seroquel. I've been off for almost two years now. come and talk to me.

  • Antidepressants are fucking evil! I am 23, was very attractive, suffered facial trauma, was put on Amitriptyline. It increased my depression and I ended up taking an overdose of 21,25mg. Within 5 weeks, my face swelled up. It's caused nerve damage in my face, my cheeks have sunken, it's damaged the collagen in my face, soft tissue in my nose, the pain is excruciating; it's like electric shock, stabbing, burning, throbbing throughout my face, I can't smile, laugh. It's completely ruined my life!

  • I'm seeing PSSD everywhere now, and i'm scared. Just today I found out today about PSSD. I myself had a low almost non-existent sex drive for years. I've been on so many meds and none have helped more than a the placebo affect. I strongly recommend to anyone if your state has legal marijuana, get it, no matter what condition you need to make up to get approved. Shit, get it illegally. I can't wait till all of the class action lawsuits, I will be filing.

  • I've seen a few psychiatrists and the one I have now is wonderful. He gave me this informaition about Lexapro which is what I have been on for a week and a half. He told me straight up that the drug will not do everything, which I already knew, and that getting off wouldn't be a walk in the park either. These people with their experiences are forgetting something : it will not effect everyone the same as it did them. Some people may not experience withdrawals at all, while some it will be hell.

  • try getting off 30 mg of paxil cold turkey. haha your in for a mind altering experience.

  • "what did you heard" ? really? fox news is full of retards.

  • Study the history of psychiatry. This report is 100% correct in everything it says. Look at the mess our county is in now. Why do you think companies, American companies don't hire young Americans? Why is our economy in the tank? We have a diluted drug ridden society and we have been high as hell while the rest of the world for the past 30 years has not been on drugs. This is your county. This is your country on drugs. Do your research and remember the all mighty dollars calls the shots - not w

  • Ever hear of "brain zap". It happens when you try to get off of anti-depressants. And they don't call it withdrawal, they call it "discontinuation syndrome". It's a really dishonest world out there. Here's a tip to get off these drugs. You can easily cut your dosage by 25% in two steps over several weeks. Then it gets troublesome. The next weening is by 5% reduction a week for 20 weeks. Don't cut back any more than that. In 3-4 months you will be done. Yes it takes that long.

  • @JohnnyRock2000 Withdraw from Effexor is probably the worse. It lasts for weeks and is like a lighter version of the influenza virus. Yet the media lies to us talking about withdraw from marijuana.

  • @MsAgnosticatheist - Cut back eventually to a grain at a time. Sure it takes time, but the final withdrawal is a single capsule drawn out over weeks. a grain at a time.

  • would you prefer to take or give someone something where all the bad effects of the drugs are vehemently researched (i.e. prohibited substances) or where only the positives get through... e.g. Mc Donands... or big pharma. Obviously not knowing if either will work (everyone is fairly different like that)

  • Depression is such a complex disease process, I don't think just throwing a pill at the depression is an efficient treatment. Scientists and psychologists don't even know why one gets depressed, the are various theoretical models which explain the pathology that might or might not be true. Doctors need to look into the root cause of the depression, is it a medical cause like low thyroid levels, viruses, adrenal dysfunction. Is it a relationship issue or vitamin deficiency. Buncha pill pushers.

  • CANNABUS ISNT GOOD EITHER--what modern 'depression' is coming from is FAMILY BREAKDOWN and people not knowing their neighbors so drugs wont help us in the long run----other countries would take us down if we stay medicated on any psychotropic drugs OR herbs

  • i'd like to see how these drugs are made from start to finish.

  • im trying to get off this ssri by taking less i can hardly think to focus on these videos whether they are imagine or real omg i wanna die my head is racing i wanna cut off my limbs :[ fuckkkk

  • @timrocket2 Best way to fight it is to exercise! Do pushups until you can, go out and run, it helps! Also drink a lot of water to clear your body.

  • Antidepressants have helped me contain my suicidal urges. I hate how the news media tries to make them seem like these emotion numbing pills. They just help people deal with an illness. Depression isn't just feeling a bit blue, your body has physical symptoms as well: body aches, low energy, low libido, etc. I encourage anyone with serious depression affecting their life to seek some form of therapy even if it doesn't involve antidepressants.

  • Now who should I believe, the biased-as-fuck, agenda-based, greedy Fox News spokesmen or the biased-as-fuck, agenda-based, greedy pharmaceutical companies?

  • fox reporting some truth??? going to loose a lot of revenue- big pharma spends billions to control the media-oh i mean to advertise their adicting drugs.

  • Referenced article in the story can be googled,

New England Journal of Medicine- Erick H Thunack, 2008-Jan-17

  • cannabis made me a paranoid mess, hence why I'm here checking whether my brain is being hacked by zoloft.

  • I love how doctors refuse to weigh the pros and cons between cannabis and prescription drugs. Gotta love hippocracy.

  • Our nation is relying on prescription drugs to make them happy then we keep covering suicides in the Media. People are thinking that suicide or depression med's is the answer to our problems but really it's not. God is the answer to our problems not marijuana, not prescription drugs, not suicide... People are becoming weaker and weaker because they are buying into the lies... What we need is GOD

  • @ABeanieBug The problem is that God is an imaginary character your mind has created to feel secure and happy. While it may work for you, not everyone can delude themselves so easily into feeling happy.

  • Without meds people die also if not worse. I am not saying meds is for everybody but do works for some.

  • @montebosss

This is not the same as medicine to cure infections or a cure period. If one person in school has adverse side effects from these drugs, it puts the whole school at risk.

  • @Sashaeharmony Lol, it's like saying that because one young car driver makes a car crash then it should be illegal for all young to drive a car, ridiculous.

  • do you realize cocaine and heroin were all marketed in the same way? do research on illegal drugs and how they got that way.

  • People need mental help because are Corp Owned Media Movies and Music is what I will say is Schizophrenic Media By Design, and Big Pharma is in Bed with the Global Elites PETRODOLLAR,, and its a Rich Mans Democracy and We the People ain't in IT!! Proof watch Architects of Control here on Jew-tube, to see how its done, We've been getting ROBBED for over 80 Years by the World Banking Families and Organized Religion, Flue-Shots & Monsanto's GMO I.E. Soft-Kill Weapons of Mass Destruction Wake-UP!!

  • Anitdepressants takes the depression out the suffering, yet gives depression to loved ones.

  • @GhostyMist

there is a book that is called "how to survive living with depression fallout" (or something along those lines) and the author describes how depression affects relationships with those around you. The book describes what to expect and how to cope with it

Hope it helps everyone depressed or has a loved one that is depressed

  • Antidepressants can be life saving drugs for many, many people. Yes they do have side effects- but the option of NOT taking them in many cases is suicide.

  • If you don't want to get addicted to drugs just don't take them. For fucks sake, people, is it that hard?

  • @Bannedforfun " just don't take them.".etc R U completely stupid or something? Do u think people take antidepressants just for a laugh or something? Let me tell u most people who start antidepressants r truly desperate and there is NO ALTERNATIVE. U could always google a few pages about depression to educate urself what a terrible TERRIBLE illness depression really is. U obviously have NEVER suffered serious clinical depression and have NO IDEA what UR talking about

  • @scabycat I wasn't talking about Antidepressants exclusively. I'm talking about drugs overall. And there are lots of people who take antidepressants outside of their medical use. Yes, I've never suffered clinical depression, but I never claimed to. FYI, I completely agree with your other comment. But there are all these stories of people getting addicted to drugs and them ruining their lives that it just becomes ridiculous at one point.

  • @Bannedforfun " but there r all these stories" ...etc Well why not just butt out, mind ur own business and let others take responsibility for their own lives? " Yes ive never suffered clinical depression"...etc yes that figures! Most " experts" on this subject have never had depression yet r willing to dictate to others what the problem is- my ass.

  • @scabycat That was my entire point. People should take responsibility for their own lives. And I'm not an expert and I'm not dictating what is the problem, I simply said that if the public service announcements wouldn't be so over-the-top and would be more straight to the point people could be able to take them more seriously.

  • @scabycat

Actually as someone who has dealt with severe depression, these pills increased my thoughts of suicide and I wanted to hurt others. What I really wanted was someone who would give me a hug or talk me through it. These people are trying to replace compassion and warmth with cold drugs.

  • I agree with most of the previous comments. About 80% of depressed people don't need or benefit from antidepressants and can get better just doing logical things.

But in some cases of truly severe depression, these people have a true medical condition and antidepressants will help. Evidence does back this. I have to say though, doctors are way too easily prescribing these drugs for people who do not need them.

  • The point isn't whether they work or not, they do, as well as placebo. That is something, since the placebo effect size is massive, >=60% positive change on the Hamilton Depression scale, for mild-moderate depression (somewhat less for major depression, but the rate of SSRI's,SNRI's,DNRI's, are very similar compared to placebo at all data points). This indicates that the patient has it within them to heal without the need for a destabilizing/biochemically dirty drug.

  • Luckily here in Italy most medications and antidepresants active ingredients have been also made into generic pharms by state controlled pharmaceutical industries and are waaaay cheaper compared to the branded ones and the price can also be completely covered by ur medical insurance. This definetly counteracts the marketing aggressiveness by private pharmaceutical companies and allows more people to afford their treatment.

  • get here to heal without prozac

  • I am a military spouse with no close family and 2 special needs children. Paxil was first perscrbed to help me cope with anxiety and be able to sleep. Which it did help with at the lowest dose. After 2 years at the lowest dose my doctor was concerned about my heart rate being over 120 resting. After multiple tests they decided it was anxiety and increased the dose. And when it continued it was increased again, now I have been told there is a link between paxil and tacycardia

  • my medicine keeps the suiced and violence out of my head

  • I have learned not to trust the FDA and never to trust so-called health insurance companies. Alcohol, Prescription Drug Companies and so-called health insurance companies are after one thing, MONEY! That's why they contribute so much money for the so-called drug war. There products are far worse than marijuana! I wonder just how many people have died because of their chemicals and their lust for money. They don't want us to use our drugs so that will will use theirs. Chris Rock quote

  • Not only is Fluoride causing brain damage, it is leading to other ailments like diabetes,cancer,etc... Just think when this all started & how some kids grew up on fluoride & how that will effect there best judgement when there elders try to warn them of there governments treasonous tyranny against humanity. These kids will be soldiers for the elite & they will turn on the elders, we will be forced to kill our own children to restore peace.

  • Fluoride is why people are hearing the zap sound, you dont have to be on Psychotropics to experience brain zaps. Just shower under public water. Hot water increases the PPM dose of Fluoride. The Government is trying to kill you. Fluoride is classified as a electronegative & is a negatively charged particle in a state of decay. WAKE UP!!!! Steam distiller, home gardens, less showers.. get off the grid & WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LendMeYourHand 1000% agree with you but there are still others who are brain washed and won't want to believe nor hear the truth.....KILLUMINATI.....

  • @LendMeYourHand fluoride is in toothpaste as well...instead people should use bakingsoda

  • all school shootings are linked to these poisons. I was on this crap for 9 years. I was always told the were not addictive. BULL. I went though months of hell getting of that poison. These drugs destabilize the brain for long term. Doctors/ pharma/ psychiatrists peddle this poison for money. $. They know the real side effects and they don't care. You will never find and doctor/psychiatrist who takes this poison.

  • @EliteDefenseInc I am losing my beloved wife to Paxil. . it is unbearably painful for me to go through.. she is losing all emotional connection to reality and our marriage is destroyed. .she lost all sex drive and became non-orgasmic.. she feels neither happy or sad. . she is a zombie. .it is horrible and my heart is broken. .she sees no connection between her lack of interest in me and her "happy pill". . .all i can do is let go. .

  • @LincolnBoy71 Don't let go. If you care for her you will need to get her off this drug and away from psychiatrists. They will only do more damage. How long has she been on paxil?

  • @EliteDefenseInc she has been on for about a year. She also drinks heavily (malt liquor) and smokes pot every day, she also is on xanax to counter the antidepressant. . .it is horrible. I have given her things to read showing that paxil isnt her answer but she is in love with the way it helps her feel less pain and emotion at our separating. . she has had affairs with other men. . .all im saying is i cant make her get off of it. . so i just let go. and pray.

  • @LincolnBoy71 you can get her off. She is lucky that she had only been on for a year. You need to taper her off this poison over 3-4 months. She will still feel some withdrawals but it won't be brutal. The sooner the better. You need to expect her to act badly and a little weird when she withdraws. I had this really weird craving for alcohol when I was on Paxil. I never had it before and paxil seemed to make me crave it. I would not just drink a little but I would drink massive amounts.

  • make sure you keep her away from any psychiatrists. They will only feed her more pills. The only way she will get better is to be off of everything. She needs to let her brain readjust which will take many months. No weed, xanax, alcohol if she will truly. She is running from reality right now. The longer she runs the harder it will be to deal with it.

  • Anti-depressants are being used as a dangerous placebo for people who don't want to have to cope with the occassional depression that we all feel. The doctor could give these people a sugar pill and they would report the same benefits and side effects. This reflects negatively on the people who take these drugs for their intended application, to help those who have suffered DEBILITATING depression for as long as they could remember, not someone who's sad because their dog died.

  • People, take a look at orthomolecular medicine, which is unsurprisingly denounced by the medical empire as all natural treatments are (well ok I admit it's not entirely NATURAL to be taking huge doses of supplements which may be synthetic to begin with, however if you are disinclined to trust Pharma then this may not seem so crazy). In particular, the very little-known documentary (youtube it) "Masks of Madness". Suspend your judgment until you see it!

  • It seems pharmaceutical companies exaggerated the effectiveness of antidepressants"

    no shit.....................

  • Zoloft helps with Depression and Racing thoughts

  • @Pent5HT Zoloft helps killing your brain cells and causing Neurological damage like distonia, diskensia, neuroleptic malignent syndrome etc. Take YOU MEDS!!

  • SSSRI's are evil. They change the personality. They permanently rewire the brain, - damage it. They are horrendously expensive. They cause convulsions and seizures if one tries to discontinue without hospitalization.

  • @macpduff true, there is evidence that long-term SSRI use can affect brain chemistry and neurotransmitter receptor sites, possibly to an irreversible extent.

  • @macpduff I had two brain zaps and 1,000 murderous thoughts while watching this video. I am a SSRI victim.

  • People seem to think that these are 'magic pills'. They're not. In the UK (I'm not sure about in the US) my doctor told me before prescribing Citalopram that no antidepressant is a 'silver bullet' for anxiety/depression and that they work for some people but not for everyone. I've been through lots of counselling and mental health advice and this has been my last resort- I really hope it works. I was told to give it 6 months to see how it goes, if not well, then I'll be taken off them.

  • @DorianJamesFox You wont be able to get off them. Once your one its for life. The withdrawals and permanent mind warp are forever.

  • Taking antidepressants almost killed me, Cannabis however saved my life.

  • @WhattsHisName Cannabis was probably one of starting symptoms for my depressions, then antidepressants helped me, now I feel like they are slowly killing me. Shit I have to do something, I want my normal life back!!!

  • This is strange.....my patients aren't 'freaking out' and shooting up a bunch of people at school or McDonald's........I can't explain this. The only side effects I hear of are dry mouth and, at worst, constipation. Are my patients so messed up that they have stopped being suicidal or antisocial after medication therapy, and actually seem to get better???

  • @ngogol Maybe they are ashamed of their symptoms. I've heard it was very common with SSRIs

  • @Mendelevium146 I actually have not found that to be common with SSRIs. Also, patients tend to be pretty open about symptoms and side effects in a clinical setting.

  • @ngogol WRONG!

  • @ngogol If I told my doctor that my drugs caused cognitive deficits, blurred vision, lack of coordination and poor reflexes, they would probably have told me to hand in my licence and I would have been unemployed. Instead I told them about the weight gain, pains in muscle and joints, nightmares and anger problems. The best I got was a reduction in dose. All these drugs have crappy side effects. I have tried 3 different drugs. and that was not the worst one. I am in the process of quitting.

  • problem with antidepressants is that it causes impotency as a side effect and you can't fall in love anymore while taking them because your emotions and feelings are blocked. problem is some people got permanent impotency for the rest of their lives after quiting the drug. it's called the 'post SSRI sexual dysfunction' you can read about it on wikipedia. it's no joke, read the forums about people having PSSD, their fucked up for many years and probably the rest of their lives with impotency

  • @MisanthropistDude I have been on 100mg of Zoloft for many months now and I have not experienced any negative side effects at all. My sex life as improved greatly actually. I used to have no interest in sex at all and now I get "in the mood" a lot more easily and enjoy sex a lot more.

  • @wiparker824 What's the upside for FoxNews? I don't think they make money by people not taking antidepressants.

  • @YoDudeRock

Yeah its weird because big pharma are among fox's biggest advertisers.

It's great to see the truth come out.

  • try extra b6 for serotonin support

  • I've been on Zoloft for 5 years and it has done wonders. It literally saved my life. Obviously some people suffer from side-effects (that's a possibility with any drug), and yes, I do think antidepressants are often times over-prescribed to people who don't need them...but, in the end, my life is significantly better and I've had no side-effects as of yet. If I wasn't on meds, however, I would have killed myself long ago.

  • @adean2 I'm very glad you found them helpful. Medicines don't work for me but I'm so so glad they help some people because mental illness is a nightmare. Peace.

  • @Aislan4414 Thanks!

  • do you just stay even keel?

  • @qukarlz Yeah. I have normal emotions like everyone else, but I don't get the random extreme emotions anymore. Now, when I'm sad, it's because something sad happened...before, I would wake up and cry for no reason. Everything in my life could be fine, and I'd still want to die...it was very weird.

  • Looks like all the Tom Cruise nutjobs gathered together to support this video. If the drugs are helping the tens of millions of people who are you to tell them they're doing something wrong? I've known many who have had their lives turned around because of antidepressants. It's sickening people would campaign against something that helps so many. My guess is most of you are here because you've had a bad PERSONAL experience or just love pretending to know better than common wisdom. Sad!

  • 4:47?? hmm...shady

  • we need to all team up against there motherfuckers and take them out of buisness all of us rebel come up with lawsuits and reasons behind this madness

  • sentenced to a life of somethin somethin barack obama

  • If you are suffering from depression don't listen to the negative stuff about the medicaments. It save more life than it waste but you only heard about the failure not the success. Why penalizing 99% of the people who their life was saved just because 1% died from it? Think about it. and mostly those who failed was because the medicament did work quick enough. You have to give 2 full mouth, you have to be strong, don't give up for a little problem, side effects can go away after some time.

  • @montebosss I smell a psychiatrist. Peeew !

  • @BeavisNacho I am a person who had depression but finally found the good one for me. What I hate from people is stuff that I have being through myself. You have to know that most medications I didn't give them enough time to work and then I started saying bad stuff about it and lose total faith on medications. I used to be idiot about depression also but medications can works. You have to make sure that you really need it, of course.

  • @montebosss your not getting the idea, its placebo. don't be ignorance and reply on videos you don't even understand the purpose of.

  • @gamermostafa I use the medication, learn how to read. Wellbutrin work for me, no more smoking, no more drinking and I sleep better and wake up better. It take 2 full mouth to work, get it? 2 full months, people gave up because they are too uneducated about it.

  • They totally rely on the placebo effect.

  • Well yeah, they're making money. Of course they're going to skew the truth.

  • Fuck Fox News

  • I was just put on Effexor, coming off of Wellbutrin. This scares this shit out of me.

  • @GarrettBMXes Warning Effexor has a bad come down......

  • I recently began to taper myself off of Wellburtrin and Effexor and quit altogether. I could no longer afford to pay $85 a month to take them. So far my moods have been pretty good and my energy level actually seems to have increased. I've had more motivation to clean my house, cut my lawn etc. I hope that I've done the right thing and won't regret quitting them.

  • @ethicomm Thats it? I have crap insurance and effexor was costing me 130.....

  • watch

Psychiatry - Making a Killing with Dr. Rima Laibow & G. Edward Griffen By CCHR

  • why wean off an ssri? They aren't addictive, there are no true withdrawal symptoms associated with them

  • @jazzbobobo Everyone I know who takes SSRI's is addicted. They say that they can't function without them because they can't tolerate the intense withdrawal. If you are not the same you are either an exception or have not developed a tolerance yet.

  • @will51183 someone isn't addicted to something because they say they are addicted, there are histological specifications.

  • @jazzbobobo Correct. Most people have severely debilitating physical and cognitive problems when use is stopped. That is addiction.

  • @will51183 like what problems?

  • Dizziness, vertigo, lightheadedness, nausea/vomiting, headaches, insomnia, shock-like sensations, parasthesia, sensory disturbances, agitation, rebound depression and anxiety, impaired concentration, depersonalization, increased suicidal thoughts.

Everyone is different so there are always exceptions of a few experiencing little to no symptoms but why take the risk?

  • @will51183 This is not addiction, this is because it takes many weeks for the drug to works so it is logical to stop slowly ( not cold turkey). Those who are too idiot to understand that deserve to get fuck up from withdrawal real bad.

  • @montebosss Someone is an idiot if they don't know everything you do? and They deserve to "get fuck up from withdrawl real bad."

You're psychotic, I'll write you a script for risperdal.

  • @BeavisNacho idiot = ignorant or someone with incorrect information. And yeah with internet they deserve it, they just had to make a quick search or read the drugstore paper about that medication and yes you are an idiot.

  • @montebosss Oh dear. I hadn't realized. PLEASE... CAN YOU TELL ME WHY I AM AN IDIOT ??

You are a total fucking god and I want to be like you. Some day I hope.

    Give me some advice !!!

  • @montebosss Shutup fool. Most people dont know what withdrawal and side effects are!. If they are told of the damaging risks they wouldnt take them which psychiatrists would not profit. psychiatry kills!. take ur meds fag!.

  • @jazzbobobo yes they are.

  • ssri drugs are harmless when taken properly. Making these type of fear inducing news casts are what is dangerous.

  • @jazzbobobo Anti-depressants are very harmful. I have many friends and family members that used to lead healthy lives until they started these drugs. Now they have chronic health problems and are emotionally zombies most of the time.

  • @jazzbobobo FAIL

  • that lady is full of shit. she is blaming all her problems on a scapegoat, the drug. You know why there is a higher rate of suicide with people who are given anti-depressants? Because they're fucking depressed! That last bit about a study done on sugar pills versus anti depressants and suicide is bullshit and it was never truly done because it violates ethical standards.

  • Ditto. The social and physical harm can not be overstated. These drug are not safe for human consumption.

  • SSRI meds, will totally fuck with your head, do not, and I mean do not take SSRI meds really evil shit.

  • Anti-depressants are still very much unknown. Being depressed is now like having a cold. So many people are being diagnosed with depression and given anti-depressants. Personally I believe instead of having people rely on medicine doctors and counselors should focus on fixing the initial problem which has caused the individual to become depressed. This would make them put more effort in their jobs instead of just giving them some happy pill.

  • why are people taking antidepressants? im depressed and the best thing i use is acctually depressants lol

depressants relax your heart rate and muscles... antidepressants are like speed or crack

why speed your self up when your thinking of suicide? depressants are like an instant drunk feeling... its great

  • That guy isn't a doctor. He is definitely not qualified to be talking about any of this. The lady took them because she wanted to be happier? God what a fucking retard they're for depressed people not people that just want to be happy holy fuck.

  • Did that guy just interupt him at the very end?! How RUDE!!

  • People should have accurate truthful information alright; they should start with telling them there's no such thing as a "mental" illness. The mind is non-physical.

  • @YouKidsNever there can be mental illnesses, many are biologically inherited such as schizophrenia, but they need the right environmental stimuli to come out.

  • @pompyromage And you know it's inherited (vs. learned) how????

  • The majority of these conditions are due to nutritional deficiencies. The others are due to extreme personality types.

L-Tyrosine and 5-HTP are the DIRECT nutritional pre-cursors for Dopamine, Norepinephrine, Adrenalin, Thyroxine, Serotonin, and Melatonin. Take them on an empty stomach or absorb the powder under your tongue.

Take a good multi-vitamin for the other micronutrients on top of a balanced diet and sufficient exercise.

  • I disagree on "personality" types. If you've been abused, you're going to behave in what seems to be irrational to others. People need to start looking at how they got to where they are, the learn different ways of dealing with their relationships and take responsibility for their behavior - and they need to do so whether they have a nutritional deficiency or not. You don't see undernourished people in Africa exhibit the supposed effects Americans do because of "nutritional deficiencies".

  • We actually more agree on personality types. Some behavior is genetic, some is learned, some can be nutritional or poor physical condition. Bottom line they need to learn to deal with life with minimal drug use, if any.

People in Africa are not eating the garbage that Americans eat. Eating very little good food is much better than eating a lot of bad food.

  • @bmp713 "People in Africa are not eating the garbage that Americans eat. Eating very little good food is much better than eating a lot of bad food"

You're basing that on the assumption people in Africa are getting good food. What people in the US are getting still provides more nutrition than what people in Africa are getting. And again, people need to take responsibility for their behavior, nutritional deficiency or not; bad nutrition is not an excuse for bad behavior.

  • @bmp713 Don't forget L-Tryptophan
