Awsome. I probably won't get the 1st Pikmin remake because I have it for the GC, but I may consider getting the Pikmin 2 remake because I got the 2nd one used and I get an error every now and then when I start up the game.

This just shows how greedy Nintendo has become. Instead of making new games, they're recompiling old GameCube (read: LameCube) code for the Wii and tacking on gimmicky waggle.

Actually, Pikmin by its nature will become a sleeker and better flowing game because of Wii functionality; and there will be very very little mere "waggle" involved.

Wii Pikmin will actually be worth buying. Also, Pikmin 3 is currently in development.

The remake looks amazing. The graphics are wonderful. I hope we get to use a classic or GCube controller as well, because I'm not sure the wiimote should be the only option.

yes it has compatibility with gamecube and classic controlers, and as far as I have heard its coming out next summer or end of may

nope, it's 100% real. Miyamoto said he was remaking pikmin 1 and 2 for the wii because it was "how it always should be played". pikmin 3 is also in development- but no trailer or images have been released.
