as a southerner I just gotta say, when Webb did that accent, well tried lol, I laughed my ass off. even American actors fuck that up from time to time
The name "Ku Klux Klan" actually has something or other to do with the Greek, maybe, for "The Squared Circle". Squaring the circle, or "quadrature", with a compass and straightedge has been a classic dilemma for lateral thinkers and the like, because it is mathematically impossible. This brave movement, and its successors in various departments of our universities, fought to do it, free of Big Math, and knew in their hearts they couldn't only because black people were somehow stopping them.
Fun (?) fact. The KKK initially formed as a sort of traveling clown group to cheer up southerners and take their minds off the destruction from the Civil War. All they really had by the way of costumes was sheets. Of course, the best way to cheer up southerners at the time was to lynch black people, so the tone of the group soon changed.
"My name is... my name is, Oh God, My name is Phillip, Phillip Phillips, I design stationary for WH Smith, I think this man means me harm, I've worked out that he's some sort of celebrity chef, ??? he thinks that his trust ?? he thinks that he's" ... okay I give up.
@Misishaxi continuing where youreoverhere left off:
"He thinks this is a trust program. He thinks I'm his friend. he's taking me around the world in a fucking balloon! We never land! Every time I wake up, there's more of these. I think they're needle marks."
"Who are you talking to?"
"I miss you Rebecca. Tell the kids I love them. If you see this, if anyone sees this, send help. It's not television."
you think rob webb might really be stumped by american accents? he did a pretty good one in "speedo" but he used the word "shag," which americans never use, and here they're both playing southern american racists from croydon.
The background in the German show is making me nauseous!

@HackneySack Bullshit, they were militia in the Civil War, that was reformed after the war.
And they didn't go round lynching black people for "lulz".

Pretty amazing to see David's relatively light irises in the night vision part of the balloon sketch, and great acting too.
