@yeeluvspizza It depends on stack depths... at certain blind levels I'll go more like 2.2x in LP and 2.6x in EP. The reason is that from LP you're more likely to have position on anyone who calls, and because you have a wider opening range. From EP you have a more defined, more narrow range so want to make it more expensive for players to call you when they have positon
@wc123 Yeah, against good players it's fine to 3bet because they will play so straightforward against your 3bet at these stages. Whereas a fish will flat you w/ stupid hands and you're building a pot w/ a decent but not great hand and will find some awkward spots. W/ deepish stacks early I like keeping pots small against bad players, generally (unless I have a strong hand, obv)
Why do u like 3x in EP and 2.5 in LP? Is it ok to consistently make it 2.5ish in most spots?

what's the reasoning behind the AJ call? why'd you say it was ok against this player? is it usually better to fold it or 3-bet?
