  • Chinese scum! Why did you deceive people??

  • Hello....

how many minutes of flying i can have with a single charge?

    Thanks

  • good night, I live in the brasil

how do I do to acquire 1 cesnna of this?

  • Fuck you bannane bitch

  • very scale? are u mad?! the landing gear looks so flimsy and is basically a wire

  • I'm kinda stuck in the elevator assembly... I didnt know I gotta cut the foam to insert the elevator o_O

I need help with assemblying it, can you help me? Thanks.

  • i wana get it

  • how long does it take to charge for a full flight???

  • Everybody knows this plane has a crap nose wheel setup-and thats out of the box! My problem is I have bent the nose wheel strut, but to replace it I have to unscrew the hex screw that goes into the elbow piece at the top of the strut that connects to the pushrod. BUT: that hex screw is smaller than all the other ones so I cant get it out, even with the Skyartec alum screwdriver! Idiots. Has anyone got any tips OR tips on how to improve the wheel setup in general? Thanks sorry bout the negativity

  • Does anyone has been contacted Blitz RC Works for warranty? I tried to manage the case directly with Banana Hobby and they dont do anything. The support team doesnt know anything about helicopters and always says that the problem is the battery. In addition helicopter creators, Blitz RC Works have a web page that appears in blank. How can I reach them?

  • @sigkingkobra, I bought the ninja 450 heli it coust me €800, it's not the money but when I needed support they did not reply. The HELL with bananahobby!

  • any glue needed for consruction? can i use CA glue on the foam? of not what glue to use?

  • If you use CA, it has to be FOAM SAFE CA. I always use Epoxy.

  • I have a feeling that the Cessna 182 RTF kits are made from "AeroCell closed cell EVA foam" which is compatible with regular CA glue - also, most tend to be EPP foam, which is also compatible.

  • its not, i got it 4 months ago and its made of cheap EPS, which melts

  • Nice to meet you Pete! You should start in the 2 to 3 channel airplane area. Work your way up to the 4 channels. Also, the simulators are awesome now a days. A great learning tool!

  • is this plane material strong because i really dont want to crash this if i get one. lol. i need a good plane to practise flying 4ch planes, is this good for me?

  • This is a nice plane. Take a look at the TW Cessna. It is made of EPO Foam. Much more crash resistant.

  • pete, when i plugged in my cessna 182 it played o susana. did it do this for you?

  • I've got one and mine does it to

  • LOL! Yes mine does the same thing. It is just the motor initializing. As soon as you give it a bit of throttle stick, it will stop.

  • Mine came without simulator software. I also need a cable for that. What shoul I do to first try to fly on simulator?

    Thanks!

  • I am not too familiar with the SDM Cessna. The rudder and the ailerons need to be nice and level before you fly it. Do a pre flight check and make sure the surfaces are straight and have 0 degrees of deflection when the sticks are at their neutral position.

  • Thanks Pete,

Great info. I'm in the UK, so work on 35Mhz, but I guess the principle is the same.

What is 'negative/positive shift' that people talk about?

So any Tx with PPM (or even PCM/PPM) capabilities will work?

Good stuff... keep those great reviews coming!

    J

  • I am not for sure if the 601 RX is single or dual conversion. I will email Skyartec and see if they can tell me more. Negative shift receivers are like Futaba. Positive shift are like JR. So in sense if you can not use a JR radio with any negative shift receivers. Thanks for the comment!

  • Yeah, if you can that would be great. I have tried to contact them, but haven't had a reply as of yet... and google doesn't seem to return any results on the Rx either!

If you can let me know what you find out, that would be great!

Thanks for the great information Pete!

    James

  • Pete,

Sorry for all the questions!! Do you know if Skyartec receivers are positive or negative shift?

    James

  • I believe they are negative shift.

  • Hi Pete, great review!

I've got mine built and ready to fly, however please help me with a query! I have my own Tx (Futaba FP-T6NL) that I would like to use, but it wont work with the Cessna. I get no movement at all from any input from the Tx.

Someone told me that it could have something to do with the Rx being PPM and the Tx being PCM. Could this be it? I was using the Skyartec crystals at the time, would I be better off using Futabas?

Which Tx will work with it?

    Thanks!

  • All the radios on the market will work fine with it if you are using 72MHZ and on Negative shift. The radio has to be set in PPM Modulation. PCM will not work with the supplied RX. Thanks!

  • Pete,

Just to ask... do you know if the Sky601 receivers are single or dual conversion???

    Thanks!

    James

  • how long does it take to charge and how long does it fly for?

  • Charge time can be anywhere from 30 min to 1.5 hours. Flying time is about 8 to 12 minutes. Thanks!

  • Sure thing! The Throttle stick is the LEFT stick on the transmitter. The Riggth stick is aileron and elevator.

  • Hi Pete, with your experience, do you thing that this Cessna is ideal for beginners?

    Thanks.

  • This Cessna is more beginner friendly than most planes. Since it is a high wing design and a nose gear, I say it a good airplane to start with. It does come with a flight simulator as well. Thanks!

  • nice plane

  • your cool pete

  • lol thanks!

  • Hmmmm hey pete can you check on that motor for me? As either the website info, or the box info is wrong, as it say

Drive System: 1530KV Brushless Outrunner High Torque Motor

on the website but you read the box at only 970kv

  • They had 2 different motor KV's. Both fly the same pretty much. Different propeller size and battery configuration in the earlier Cessna's. =)

  • Dude,

Do u get paid for wat u do and do get the planes for free. Can u get me a job????
