  • this guy is just a wussy...jk

  • @djphilmore its spelled Cannabis ...

  • It sounds like Jonathan had to deal with someone in his chain of command who was of the persuasion that PTSD is bullshit, or that soldiers should at least suck it up and continue to fight until their contract is up.

Whoever that was needs to be replaced ASAP with someone who treats PTSD like the psychological injury that it is.

He has PTSD because of his service, and the bastards try to discharge him for misconduct after keeping him there when they shouldn't have.

    Absolutely obscene.

  • when i was first diagnosed with ptsd and traumatic brain injury they were told by the base doctor to keep me on shore duty for more tests and 2 days later i was out to sea... the ships doc didnt want to give me any special treatment so it was business as usual again because he didnt believe in ptsd...i got a bad attitude and got in a lot of trouble like you did and at my eaos i was told not to reenlist and was given my discharge papers... it took years to get 100%pnt

  • PTSD is the liberation of the mind. PTSD is where you discover that everyone else has been insane the whole time. PTSD is where you discover how corupt & unreal the world is. You discover you have been part of something that just isnt right. You must realize that it was society around you that made your minds scream out. It made you realize that you dont want to be part of that because its immoral. Then you look at all the creatures & drones surrounding you & how they are in the matrix.

  • This whole concept of just sucking it up or boxing it up & putting it away is everything psychology says NOT to do. Its compartmentalization of the mind. It creates components that only allows for simple responses of Fight or Flight in most scenerios. It also effects Long Term Memory. Yep, if you DONT go through PTSD, you may already be a robot for the Banker Elite, include not even a credible witness with long term memory loss. PTSD is decompartmentalization through flashback, LTM aquisition

  • Phosphatidyl Serine Matrix. GET OFF THEIR DRUGS!! Dont drink Caffiene. Take herbal vitamins. Let it out. Let it ALL out. Dont hold back....SCREAM!!!!!!!! You MUST heal, The whole system is built on you shutting your mind down. It makes the rich richer, at the expense of your sanity & control over your own thoughts. Take back your mind. PTSD is the perfect mind awakening, things become so much clearer when you pull it all back together, though you may always have the memory its not your fault.

  • The "brave" NATO soldiers would not have even contemplated terrorising innocent countries had they not firstly been disarmed by UN. UN is a tool used by USA to disarm countries before seeking to inflict its Terrorist attrocities on the innocent. You "Heroes" aren't interested in the truth...all you need to know is that you are better equipped than your victims, so you can steal there resources and freedom. God is on the side of the innocent - this is why you are losing these wars. You are weak!!

  • lease watch my PTSD - The War Within : News Story

i am doing as much as i can, to get recognition for this illness and how it affects the soldiers!

  • Freemasonxxx, continued, Out Weighed by You GROSS UNDERESTIMATION of what would Happen to You if you were Brave Enough to State Your Opinion of The MARINES to a MARINE. I'm 41 and would Love to Snatch You Up and Beat the Weakness Out of Your Body and Mind. You Might Want to Read a Book titled, When People Kill. It's written by a Former Army Lt. Bird who was in Special Forces during NAM. It deals with the Psychological effects of War and Killing on the Human Mind and Covers Many Many Wars

  • Freemasonxxx ..... I could say so much but it would probably be a waste of my typing skills. I'll sum thing up by saying that it's Easy to sit behind a computer and Slander The HEROS of Our Proud Country. I Say Thank You to ALL Who SERVE and Have SERVED. I'm a Marine who Proudly Served in the Gulf War and I've Suffered for 18 years from PTSD. I won't go into what it's cost me but suffice to say I've Lost ALOT. I'll Wrap Things Up by saying that Your Ignorace in Political Issues is ONLY .........

  • well done bro

  • dude its war if you can't handle the fucking stress and death then why do people join the god damn army i mean 3000 years ago men didn't have a problem killing someone to defend their homes or country they knew what was going to happen. how far have we fallen?

  • @thedemonswithin4 You are an idiot. Read a book. The origin of this disorder has carried several names with it for thousands of years. There are accounts as far back as 480 B.C. during the Battle of Thermopylae, when the Greek philosopher, Herodotus, wrote of the adverse affects of battle not only physically but also mentally.

  • @thedemonswithin4 your logic is quite dumb... 3,000 years ago, people still suffered from PTSD... And today, people STILL kill to defend their homes and country.. Most people don't go into the army expecting to actually experience a brutal war. And even if they do expect it, seeing millions dead before your eyes WILL psychologically change you for LIFE.

  • @thedemonswithin4 you are a wanker... ptsd is a bitch i bet if there was a draft, noone could beat you to the canadian border...

  • @thedemonswithin4 when ur fighting a war for a good reason then u are perpared to die n honour, butr usa fighting for oil, 90 percent of the us marines have no idea why they fuck they are in iraq and afghanistan....... without 9/11 there would be no invasion on iraq and afghanistan, we all know that shit was an inside job... PTsd IS bullshit, lil cowards can get that but on a souljas behalf it on't make sense...

  • @thedemonswithin4 what are you talking about? no knows they are going to get battle fatigue when they join the army and it has always been around but only diagnosed in the last 30 years. People 3000 years ago still got ptsd you have been watching conan the barbarian too many times, think about it.

  • they tried to give me a medical discharge fro tbi and ptsd but my ships dock didnt agree so he made me stay... i was recomended to not reenlist... 22 years later i was finally diagnosed again and given 100 % pnt... i had to fight for everything i got though... i stay sedated and the cops know me by name and my family doesnt understand why i am who i am... death is better than living this way but for religious reasons, i wont kill myself...

  • PTSD diagnosis has and will always be discouraged by the Government. The bottom line is we in the Army are considered pawns to Politicians and the World Bankers--who by the way are the real ones running this fucked up system.I say Fuck Authority. Fuck Bureaucracy. Fuck Red Tape. Fuck "service connected" interrogations designed to save the USG money.

  • @nofxmike06- I totally agree.

  • THIS IS ALL BUSH'S FAULT... HE SHOULD BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL THOSE YOUNG SOLDIERS HE SENT 2 THEIR DEATHS ON A PACK OF LIES. THEN BUSH SHOULD DIE ON FIRING SQUAD.

  • I was a Medic attached to a Infantry platoon that patrolled the streets of Al Dora Iraq for 15 months. Ive lived through things your pretty movies cant even show.. This mofo's a brave man for standing up and speaking his side. War is hell, I had to repress what was happening to stay alive and to keep my friends alive. Repression comes back. Cheers to you Pfc. Norrell

  • sounds like a pussy who's trying to get out

  • @bugaloo15va Who are you to call him a pussy? Have you gone to any of the wars out there and lived through watching your friends get shot up and die right in front of you? He's a brave man for telling his story. People like you need to wise up and start listening for a change.

  • so ptsd is like that feeling ya get when ya stare off into the distance and then come back andya dont know wy

  • PTSD ate me up. No friends, relatives hate me, I threw nuns out of my father's wake because I didn't invite them. I yell and scream at employers if they piss me off. I hate authority and will not tolerate it. I take a drug 40 x's stronger than heroin just to exist as an asshole. 8 years of mass death was enough, somebody else can get sick now. I don't drink but docs know I must have the drug daily or I may kill someone. I hate almost everybody alive even my kids.

  • I recently got a rating increase from 50% to 70% for Vietnam ptsd as a medic. Seeing death day after day does something to humans. It also happens to cops and fire department paramedics. Someone has to go to plane crashes, car accidents, bombings, any mass casualty situation (earthquakes, tsunamis). Seeing people ripped apart almost daily does something to us and its not good, but dammit somebody has to do it or dead bodies would be all over the place even here. Big jets crash I pick up piece

  • good vid

  • Check out the PTSD unit at Battle Creek ,Mi. A VERY good place!!!!

  • hey fuck you! it is because of people like you that people who got PTSD don't come forward, they fear to be labled cowards but they are totally normal! everybody is scared, you call it "adrenaline rush" if you want, but the more you are exposed to this shit your brain re-wires itself and you get seriously fucked up! PFC Norrell is a hero! for showing publicly that it is ok to talk about it, deal with the problem, get help! and not shoot their brains out months after they returned home.

  • it's much better than playing a fucking hero and then drowning yourself in alcohol, fucking up all your relationships, fighting with everybody, losing your job... people who let PTSD eat them up are the ones who are in the wrong, too proud to stop feeling sorry for themselves. get up, get help, get back to life. thanks to all soldiers for their sacrifice.

and fuhmeregan, know your opinion means less to me than a humid afternoon fart, you're nothing but a little troll on the internet.

  • ofcourse is ptsd real

  • PTSD IS REAL

My father was in the army from 78-87

he was stationed in germany and he dealt wtih Terrorists...........he also investigaed auto bahn car accidents

one of the ways he copes with it is he tells me soem of the stories

also My uncle who was in vietnam has it

and my grandfather who was a WWII vet had it as well

  • There are casualties in war that don't bleed, yet are hurting just as much.

    For the administration to:

    1) NOT anticipate this after the Vietnam experience,

    2) IGNORE this when evidence mounts and,

    3) subject the wounded warriors to red tape recriminations and all manners of indignity,

is for history to judge what manners of leaders they are.

  • PTSD is real ! And anybody knowing anything about PTSD also know that drinking is most of the time , the first sign of PTSD.

My Husband Has severe PTSD and he is retired Army with 80% Disability . It is not easy to live with PTSD ! And untreated , it will get worse. We should take care of our Soldiers when they come back ! And not judge , but be compassionate !

  • You know what they told me about my PTSD. suck it up. i agree with you they should be more compassionate about it.

  • @PatrioticPetra Agreed!.....but you don't have to be a soldier to have PTSD....the whole country has to get on the ball with awareness of mental illness. People are very judgemental until it happens to them.

  • @PatrioticPetra Try Cannibus. Search debates on youtube, theres a couple Vets. with PTSD that use it and they never have PTSD symptoms again. Don't use medications which side affects could worsen the problem. even suicide... thats not a good side affect. and if Cannibus doesn't work theres no drawbacks or side affects. Hope this helps. God bless.

  • @PatrioticPetra i want to grow up and help these soldiers who risk there lives for us to live.

  • aswellshouldbe, you are a piece of shit pussy hiding behind your really cool internet name.... show your face around and talk like this..... bet you wont

  • Wow, thats kind of like the pot calling the kettle black. It means you're a hypocrit Solo, incase you didn't catch on.

  • the pot calling the kettle black??? dumb ass, if you did serve with norrell, then you were in 8-10.... there was only one solo in 8-10 dipshit, ask around, you can find me... or shit, just let me know where you are and ill find you .... why do you think there are several people in here taking up for him.... idiot

  • you are a morron!

  • Norrell did go on patrols in Iraq. He dragged a worthless Squadron s3 officer to safety after a sniper attack, so I find it funny that someone calls him an aid station medic. he was a spur psd medic for the last 6 months of the deployment.

  • PFC norrell was my medic in iraq and yes he did roll out the gate with us all the time and he was there when was hit by multiple ieds and yes he did have a car, so who ever is talking shit about him you come see at work, this was the best thing for him, and if you have a problem with that like i said you can some see me and we can have a talk.

  • Haha, ok I'll come see you at work??? Jackass

  • I served with PC Norrell in Iraq. He was a worthless drunk before we deployed, so naturally he would continue once we returned. He was an AID station Medic. He saw no combat, other than the video games he constantly played. He was a terrible soldier and an embarassment to the Army. He's a liar. How did he have "flashbacks" while driving when he didn't have a car? The Chain of Command knew he was a liar so they treated him accordingly. So now u know the real story of Norrell. AKA DURH face

  • @gamestopnate

How can you blame the guy when you're not the one being shot at or seeing such atrocities?

Oh wait - Who cares what you think

  • I somewhat understand what he is going through. I don't entirely believe him. People tend to exaggerate these types of disorders. I do believe he has some problems as he has said, but his representations seem questionable. His "waiting to be discharged" remark makes his comments even more suspect.

  • This is sad. I have patients that have this. It's a real thing! Our government needs to step of to the friggin' plate and help these people!
