Left 4 Dead was good, but only for a short amount of time. It quickly became boring, no matter how much their "state of the art" Game Director randomized it. All of the zombies die from one or two shots anywhere, and the special zombies showed no variety, all the weapons are boring, even the melee weapons were boring.

If you ever play Red Dead Redemption, you can clearly see where Rockstar Games succeeded, and valve failed.
