full game! 2142 was my favorite game in the series and i'd love to see the sequel return as a full blown game! seeing maybe some original and new maps in frostbite 2 or even an upcoming engine 2.5? it would look stunning! seeing the sun beaming through the clouds and snow onto battle walkers and titans, all the fabulous guns and vehicles! they could even make a great single player story! all the great bf3 features would be sweet! i really hope they dont make it a dlc, although i wouldn't mind
An expansion pack or arcade is probably more likely, because DICE kept on stating that they won't do annual Battlefield games and they said there would be a lot of more DLCs. Also there are (yet again) more rumors about a dinosaur mode, cause of that Wake Island easter egg. Also (again) they are probably gonna do a Mirror's Edge 2 (Finally).

I'm sorry but that is ridiculous! I'm not buying a new TV for one game, even if it is BF. The PS3 is a console, it shouldn't matter what 'other hardware' I have! DICE needs to fix stuff like this! And I can live with setting my PS3 to 720 since most games run on that, but 546p? Dude, it's almost 2012! I can't believe you're defending DICE here... We paid 60 bucks for this game, and it was poorly tested and even now it's still full of bugs. DICE needs to learn to set their priorities!
Also, I don't want EA to force DICE into a Game-a-year system, I love DICE's games because they put work into them. Working on them for years allows for actual strides and advances, as opposed to the same shit different year like Call of Duty.
You move around a lot, don't seem exactly comfortable on camera. But I love the idea, and you still have good presence. You'll grow into it, it might just be weird seeing a person and not just hearing the voice.
Suggestion: the acoustics in your video was a little iffy. I don't know what you were using but it sounds like the room is very empty. Either get a clip on mic to wear or you could have some more chairs shelves etc. in there. But awesome new series!

Call of Duty is just plain retarded. The makers make a new game every year, and each game is almost exactly the same as the last. EA atleast takes time to make a good game. COD is still a best seller because it's players are brainwashed into liking bad games.
Plus, just imagine the kind of campaign that can be achieved with 2143! The universe is already well-established, the story is set. All they need is a very good narrative that depicts this conflict for the last remaining lands and resources that have not yet been covered in ice (It's set in an ice-age). Imo, they butchered the BF3 campaign as they could've told actual stories about soldiers but decided to go all Hollywood. 2143 is a very dark and grim universe that deserves lots of love
Full-retail. I DO NOT want 2143 to be rushed in order to make the release date before the next CoD. BF2142 was the last true PC-orientated Battlefield and I want them to take their time in order to properly optimize it and include VOIP, Battlerecorder and all that jazz that didn't make it into BF3

Yes, i now know that it is possible. After I've thought about it. Took them years to develop BF3 because of FB2 yes and they had to make a guinea pig(MOH). though I'm against the experiment DICE made. it was still a good game. They are more than capable of doing this. But still. I'm sure its not a retail game. It will most likely be released in 2013, or 12. Because they need the new gen. consoles. I'm sure the Consoles of today will not be able to handle Titan mode.

I've gotta be honest, I don't know what form I'd want 2143 in, but I would want it. I mean if it was an add-on, that would be pretty cool because it could utilise Frostbite 2.0 easily, but not everyone could play it. As an arcade game would be cool, but I don't know how easily Frostbite could be implemented to BF3's standard. I wouldn't want full retail because I don't think a full game with plenty of guns and maps could be done to an amazing standard in a short time against the next CoD.
Read up, if BF 2143 was BF3 or any DLC, it would not be near as good as a full game. Come on, it would not have as many maps, less guns, smaller maps, and would just be somewhat disappointing. Plus you couldn't have DLC for a DLC.BF 1943 did not live to all the standards i wanted for the great sequel. Don't get me wrong, i want 2143 ASAP, but having it as a DLC might have it rushed and just not as complete.
2142 as a full retail game would be nice but seeing how Vietnam was done for BC2 I wouldn't be surprised to see it released as a DLC package. A 2142 expansion would be nice seeing how not every BF fan has gotten to experience that particular game, including myself.
i heard something the other day that sounded epic to me, somebody commented that dice should remake battlefield 1942 with all the original weapons and maps in frostbite 2, and call it battlefield 1944
It's bad ass I really like what I see so far. I don't want DICE to release some half assed version of 2142 made very quickly like every CoD seems to be. So if they want to compete, I think that a Arcade release like 1943 would be best. If they could pull off a pull release more power to them, but with Battlefield games relativity long life span a Arcade release would be best in my opinion.

I stopped playing BF3. Until they fix the imputlag on PS3 I can't really enjoy it. Thought about buying it for PC as well, but fuck that, I'm not supporting DICE and EA even more with another 50 bucks for screwing me over!
About your vid, It's pretty good. You could brush up on your presentator skills, but I guess you'll just have to practise by making more video's ;) Also, try not to take over too much of the 'RWJ format', it could be just me, but I thought it was a bit too evident. Good luck.

Call of Duty is just plain retarded. The makers make a new game every year, and each game is almost exactly the same as the last. EA atleast takes time to make a good game. COD is still a best seller because it's players are brainwashed into liking bad games.

Plus, just imagine the kind of campaign that can be achieved with 2143! The universe is already well-established, the story is set. All they need is a very good narrative that depicts this conflict for the last remaining lands and resources that have not yet been covered in ice (It's set in an ice-age). Imo, they butchered the BF3 campaign as they could've told actual stories about soldiers but decided to go all Hollywood. 2143 is a very dark and grim universe that deserves lots of love

Full-retail. I DO NOT want 2143 to be rushed in order to make the release date before the next CoD. BF2142 was the last true PC-orientated Battlefield and I want them to take their time in order to properly optimize it and include VOIP, Battlerecorder and all that jazz that didn't make it into BF3

I'd like to see 2143 as a full retail game. but i don't think that's going to happen. simply because it will take them 3 or 2 more years to do so. So, it would most likely be a DLC. either way I'm fine with that.

@WHOnokonohara It took them a year to release 2142 after BF2 using the same (and improved) engine. BF3 took so long to make because they were still developing FB2.
Plus, their studio has more than quadrupled since 2142 release. They can do it in a year if they're not rushed

Yes, i now know that it is possible. After I've thought about it. Took them years to develop BF3 because of FB2 yes and they had to make a guinea pig(MOH). though I'm against the experiment DICE made. it was still a good game. They are more than capable of doing this. But still. I'm sure its not a retail game. It will most likely be released in 2013, or 12. Because they need the new gen. consoles. I'm sure the Consoles of today will not be able to handle Titan mode.

I would love to see it as a retail game just like the original.... and could you imagine if they did what they did with BF 1943 and improve the graphics engine to FB2.5.... the sight of a mech rolling down the street blowing up LITERALLY everything in its path would be amazing and piss your self scary at the same time :D

I've gotta be honest, I don't know what form I'd want 2143 in, but I would want it. I mean if it was an add-on, that would be pretty cool because it could utilise Frostbite 2.0 easily, but not everyone could play it. As an arcade game would be cool, but I don't know how easily Frostbite could be implemented to BF3's standard. I wouldn't want full retail because I don't think a full game with plenty of guns and maps could be done to an amazing standard in a short time against the next CoD.

Read up, if BF 2143 was BF3 or any DLC, it would not be near as good as a full game. Come on, it would not have as many maps, less guns, smaller maps, and would just be somewhat disappointing. Plus you couldn't have DLC for a DLC.BF 1943 did not live to all the standards i wanted for the great sequel. Don't get me wrong, i want 2143 ASAP, but having it as a DLC might have it rushed and just not as complete.

2142 as a full retail game would be nice but seeing how Vietnam was done for BC2 I wouldn't be surprised to see it released as a DLC package. A 2142 expansion would be nice seeing how not every BF fan has gotten to experience that particular game, including myself.

It's bad ass I really like what I see so far. I don't want DICE to release some half assed version of 2142 made very quickly like every CoD seems to be. So if they want to compete, I think that a Arcade release like 1943 would be best. If they could pull off a pull release more power to them, but with Battlefield games relativity long life span a Arcade release would be best in my opinion.
