  • An absolute ten.

  • I love how it changes perspective from one side of the glass to the other.

  • she is sooo hot

  • In some angles Natasha's face looks like Ozzy Osbourne's.

    Great but sad movie.

  • Travis' face when he hears his wife's voice again for the first time in four years is completely heartbreaking.

  • Both Harry Dean Stanton and Natasha Kinski should have been nominated, won, Academy Awards for their performances.

  • Just Amazing!

  • E' uno dei miei filmpreferiti

  • To everyone talking about the film not being shot in Paris, Texas--

It wasn't shot in Paris, Texas because it doesn't take place in Paris, Texas. It starts out somewhere in the West Texas desert, moves to Los Angeles and then finishes in Dallas. Paris is referred to, but never visited.

  • @walnutfalcons actually ends in Houston...but yeah you are right, the people who complain about it not taking place in Paris Texas are the same ones who think the world will end in 2012.

  • I live in Paris,TX and I never saw anything they showed in this film

  • I saw this on IFC one night with Paul Schrader's Light Sleeper - movie buff's dream lol

  • A magnificent movie on all counts. A lot is made of Ry Cooder's score but for me it's Robbie Muller's cinematography that is outstanding.

With regards the comments from 'ThePresidentialTouch' above, none of the movie was shot in Paris, Texas. The title merely refers to a photograph of a plot of land bought there by Travis (Harry Dean Stanton) as he thinks he may have been conceived there.

  • Great scene, no doubt. I have not seen the movie, but I moved to Paris, Texas by accident (long story) not long ago, and all the people here I have talked to who have seen the movie don't like it, the main reason being that it was not shot here. Judging by the bits and pieces I have seen of the film, I would have to agree it wasn't shot here, but that's often the way in cinema.

  • Travis tries to determine if Jane goes home with her customers for money.

    What a scene!

  • awkward

  • ótimo filme, dela nem precisa falar...LINDA

  • Such an awesome movie... That silence says so much!

The whole cabin scenes are great. One of my all time favorite film.

  • Sorry guys but this is not Sam Sheppard, it's Harry Dean Stanton.

  • yes, but Sam Sheppard wrote a scenario

  • sam shepard wim winders made the perfect movie...........so very very human

  • Sam Shepard's dialogue and Wim Wender's vision combined with NK and HDS's performances- unprecedented in the history of film making.

  • Not to forget Ry Cooder's inspired and atmospheric halo of a score.

  • Nastassja kinski is exatcly my king of girl in her role in ParisTexas. She look sad so beautifully.

  • i love this film so much it is sooooo beautiful and amazing

  • pure genius.

  • This has to be one of the greatest scenes in all of cinema ...

  • a movie that is more beatiful than real and for that i have never seen a better one

  • Yks parhaista leffoista, mitä on koskaan tehty !!!! Oon kattonut tän varmaan 50 kertaa, ja aina se jaksaa viehättää uudestaan ja uudestaan !!!

  • Beautiful movie.

    Her american accent though...

  • this is the film resolution to Heinrich Böll's, The Clown

  • absolutely one of my favorite part of the movie.... i remember myself trying not to sob loud at the cinema...then i didn't care

  • haha,

dude, my lungs nearly caved in on themselves when Hunter hugs his mom.

  • This is my favourite movie...
