Say what you want bud, but you'll change your story the first time you're wrecking a building and a homeless guy comes running out of the building at you with a iron bar. no one just has shit luck, everyone who is homeless has made a choice to not try anymore, therefore they deserve no pity.

i'm guessing they didn't want to fuss with all the special permits and regulations involved with blasting, besides the fact that this structure was in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
