@TheNouveauxdecadence I couldnt stand that early stuff, not my kind of music at all! I always wonder how they could go from one radically different style to another and Gay Kemp could go on to write such beautiful ballads! But cmon, too soft? Tony Hadley's voice was made for those classic ballads. But they sure changed 100% with the release of True and I've loved them ever since. However, I like some of the reworkings of the older songs on the new CD Once More! ;)

they look really good in black and white. They were actually better than Duran Duran. But DD sold more records. Why? Was it because DD got better promotion in the US? How gorgeous was (and still) Tony Hadley. He looked good. I've seen clothes like that on the high street a couple of years ago.Vocally, no one can touch him. North London singers can kill it

Andate sul sito ufficiale degli Spandau Ballet al posto del vecchio sito trovate una bella scritta che il nuovo sito è in costruzione e se vi registrate dice "look out for an exciting announcment very soon". Quindi le voci della reunion sono vere.
If you go to the Spandau Ballet official site instead of the old site you can find that a new one is under construction and if you register it writes "look out for an exciting announcment very soon". So the rumors are real. They are coming back.
