  • congrats on 10K!

  • This is good! I dig it!

  • Love it! Got my first uke for Christmas and I'm hooked. Now I can't get your song out of my head and that's not a bad thing!! Thanks and I look forward to more great music from you.

  • Outstanding song.

  • Rockin Stuff- lovez it!!!

  • You rock, Hal!

  • Hal, you are lovely! I do have one question, however - if one wanted to cover this song (say, for a contest they didn't discover until the wire) how would they go about it? After all, there are no chords or lyrics listed here... Please do reply! I have loved this song every since I first heard it, and sing it to myself all the time - but an excuse to cover it would be divine! Thank you - from you shy admirer

  • @shoepixie The Chords are easy shoepixie. The song is in G so it's G, C & D. The hard part is all the riffing that I do. The chorus riff notes are (in order) C, D, F, G, Bb, C, G. The verse climb up is just F, F#, G. Repeat till the change to C. That does it. Have fun.

  • @manitobahal Thank you so much! Exposed as the total beginner I am: I don't know riffs or any of that yet, I've only been playing a few months. *hides in shame* All the same, you inspired me! I looked up another song (that I'd never played before, eeep!) and recorded it it quick for you, though maybe I did embarrass myself forever? No no, I am sure that practising a new song all night gives one uke superpowers, right? Right? *shifty eyes*

I WILL learn this song someday, though. A mission!

  • Just awesome!

  • Really good and cool ;-) I loved it ! oh yea man, very good ;-)

  • Oh my Got! I just love it! :)) One question- this is tenor uke? I really want to learn ukulele and i don't whit witch one start to play. Tenor or sopran?... can u help me? Thanks. :)) (excuse my bad Eeglish)

  • @WhamYawn Thank you WhamYawn. Yes this is a Tenor Uke. The choice really is about comfort and tone. A tenor is larger and easier to play in some ways over a soprano and has a fuller bass tone. However the traditional sound of a uke is from the soprano. Most players end up with a few ukes. Start with your favorite now and get the rest later. I hope that helps.

  • Oh my Got! I jsust love it! :))
