forgot one rule major rule of firecraft CLEAR WHERE YOU PLAN TO MAKE A FIRE, in a survival situation you don't want to make things worse by creating a need to run from a forest fire, and burning down a forest cant be written off by the "i was lost and needed a fire ranger" though you would be found.
