  • I watched several videos...yours was the only one that got me on the right track, so thanks for this! Maybe you know how to fix this though....I got halfway through sewing something...and the bottom (bobbin thread?) keeps coming up with TONS of thread (as in...5-10 pieces) I'm not sure what keeps causing this. Any ideas? I'm clueless with sewing machines obviously. :P

  • thanks i was in a reeeel pickle! this is very helpful :-)

  • ty ur a big help

  • Hey thanks for making This Tutorial. I was given this exact model sewing machine and it did not come with directions ;( .. So ive had it for 6+ mo now and couldnt figure out how to get the bobbin thread .. i got the thread on top threaded just couldnt get the bobbin to get situated.. So Would you suggest threading the bobbin first then the top thread? or does it matter? And again thanks!

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH I FINALLY KNOW HOW TO THREAD IT.

  • what would be the reason my machine wont stich

  • can yu please help me out.? ive tried everything...i got the same sewing machine as you but when i sew the stitch comes out perfect but when i turn the fabric around i notice that the thread is all tangled.. what am i doing wrong.? nd how can i fix it.? please reply...

  • This helped so much.. my mother in law gave me her old sewing machine(without manual) and I never seen a side bobbin loader before!

  • Thank you so much. I actually bought this exact sewing machine on amazon, and needed help with the bobbin insertion into the bobbin capsule thing, and the only thing, and this helped a bunch. I haven't used a sewing machine in a while, so this was a big refresher course, although I am a novice. One thing that would have helped, however, would have been knowing the direction that the string on the bobbin needed to go (top or bottom, clockwise or counterclockwise) when putting it into the capsule.

  • hi there i just finish watchin your thingy and i was wondering my machine i thread it the way you do (twice) and when i go to sew it gets tangle and shyt lol how do i get rid of it and what am i doing wrong please help lol

  • can u please tell me what spec of denim needle id best to get for sewing jean thanks

  • @drunkenp0t The size of the denim needle would really depends the thickness of the denim you're sewing. I usually use size 12/80 and I haven't had any problems so far.

  • Thank you for the video I purchased an older machine and it's a side loader and i didn't know how to load it into the carriage :) Your video helped!

  • @Jhuztyce I'm glad that my video was able to help you:)

  • ah, thank you so much!

  • OMG! You saved my life. I had no idea what was up with my machine! I got it from my mother when she got a new one and I've been learning how to use it. But now I know what I was doing wrong and I am sewing away. Thanks for the video!<3

  • I have a Brother (VX-950), as well, and your tutorial was so helpful. I still can't get the bobbin case to install correctly, though. I don't have that notch thing at the top to line up like you have. :( Of course, the bobbin case flies out at my face as soon as I start sewing. LOL This is just too confusing. Part of me wants to go back to hand sewing!

  • thank you , thank you , thank you x100 ! I got to show some person in my house what sewing is all about!

  • I can't pull up the bobbin thread with my needle

  • Thank you for this!!

  • I made 5 shaws for my girlfriend kids to wrap around there waist. Easy right? Wrong! the darn thread kept break and worst the bottom part of the sewn seam was all gatherd in a bunch. i hope that sound right. I was pissed because it took me 4 Ever to complete the shaws.

  • thank u so much i fallow carefully ur video and its works, its my first time using sewing machine i really have no idea. but now i have some and that from you!! thanks a lot!!!!

  • THANK you for this video!

  • good video well done

  • WTF???

i do every single thing exactly correct

but when turn he knob towards me, the needle goes down into the machine and comes back up without the bobbin thread!!

i was honestly about the throw the machine across the room!

    HELP ME

  • It sounds like the needle bar and hook assembly on your machine need to be re-timed

  • Thanks Bro-man! You helped me thread my new Brother. I couldn't figure out those directions at all. : )

  • I LOVE YOU ! THANK U SO MUCH! U helped A LOT!

  • what a nice accent, easy on the ear - very relaxed and informative, thanks :)

  • Thank you so much. My mom and I watched this video. It was very informative.

  • thank you for this video! i was ready to shoot myself. been at it for half an hour like a ding dong.

  • I havent yoused a sowing machine since i was nine years old....i think ill stick to a sowing needle....i dont have any time for the correct way for mending clothes...It was interesting anyway..I liked ..;_)>..ugg...to tired to get up now...To much machine>!!...LOL!...What was that other button called??...ah yes...Eject button....

  • eh ive done all this but mine still dnt work the needle keeps coming unthreaded and it doesnt catch the tread from the bobbin

  • Try changing the tension meter on your machine.

  • AWESOME Video...I have been fighting with my machine forever!!! I finally got it threaded, only problem I have now is that the thread bunches or tangles up on the underside of the fabric and in the bobbin area...any help on that?? A video would be great! ;-)

  • this helped a LOT i couldnt get the bobbin to click into place and it wouldnt thread right. it was really useful because we have the same kind of machine too. anyway, thanks so much for your help!

  • i wish i had found this earlier, very helpful! you have the same machine as i do- and since ive lost my tutorial i have to guess and check- not wise- i broke my needle cuz when i was trying to put the bobbin back in i took out the retaining ring, hook and hook center post and put them all back in with the bobbin- when i started sewing, the needle broke and ive noticed that when the needle goes down it is hitting the hook center post and thats most likely whats breaking my needle!@ help me!

  • I think I know how to fix your problem if it isn't as bad as I think it is. I will make a video when I'm free this week to help u fix the problem.

  • thank you so much your video really helped me out.

we have the same machine so that was also very very helpful, and you explained things pretty well!

  • thanks for this video, it is better to see one time then to read dozens of times!

  • This really helped! Thankyou :)

  • dam man,,i still didnt get it

  • Thanks for the video! I couldn't figure out why my bobbin thread was making such a mess--I forgot to pull up the loop. Oops!

    Thanks again :)

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!! I just have to tell you that your video completely helped me get over a hump that was blocking my ability to sew anything! You're a great teacher :-).

  • Argh!!! I should've paid more attention in high school lol. I'll give this a try. Thanx heaps :-)

  • Thanks! this helped me a lot with getting started. :)
