I found this song from the prestige. I haven't seen the Illisionist, but the Prestige was hands-down one of the best layout for a movie I have ever seen. This is the same remix for the song that is in the end credits, I was really hard to find. Does anyone know what this version/remix is called?
@MrTamayol The song is called Analyse by Thom Yorke which was featured in The Prestige yes but it's part of his album Erasure which is why it is in this video. (This video is like 3 years old now lol) But thank you for posting
@lunarbase I'm sorry if I posted without enough about the song, but I know the song , and the movie, I thought they didn't match. and I don't think that it really matters how old this video is. Thanks for answering my post.
i work part time at a video store & people always come in & ask "what's that movie bout magic, but it's not as good as The Prestiege?" & i'm like "ahh, you must mean The Illusionist." lol!
The Prestige was much more.. chilling (Nolan, go figure). The Illusionist didn't have as many twists and turns.. but man.. the Prestige's ending... No words for it. Then to my surprise: Radiohead (favorite band) song!
I'll admit, eveytime I thought I figured the movie out, then some shocking thing happens and then I'm like waaaah???? Lol it's a great movie that just kept me guessing and loved it. The ending was very twisted! All in all, the movie left me in aw.
Haha, I just saw it on FX last night as well and because Thom's song was cut off (stupid advertisements), I jumped on iTunes real quick before I lost the atmosphere.
I really do like his album The Eraser and I did feel that it matched nicely with the movie. I however, didn't see it on FX last night :/. I should watch tv more
Nah, you shouldn't "TV rots your brains!" 8P I vaguely remember both movies coming out around the same time? and thinking that The Prestige 'looked' like it was going to be better. Though, I'd still watch it if it came on the tube. Ed Norton, Paul Giamatti, two strong leads like The Prestige. And while she's no Scarlet, Jessica isn too shabby. 8P
You're welcome and I think I'll buy a copy of it. I've heard from a lot of my friends that it's a good movie and they usually know their movies for what's good and what's not. [=
Possibly the first song I have ever seen that has been matched to a movie well (ie; sick of Linkin Park or some rubbish being matched to Saving Private Ryan -_-).
Hehe thanks but of course we're gonna have lots of Linkin Park for vids, when you're feeling down, turn that frown upside down with some Linkin Park and a music video is made! lol
essa música é de "O Grande Truque" , beem melhor que "O Ilusionista"

I just saw the movie for the first time tonight (FX ~ 8 EDT) and

I used to cover alot of Radiohead tunes
and I knew he put out a solo release(s?)
But, I hadn't heard any songs.
Just reinforces my fear of getting old &
outta touch. haha 8P
This is my 'new' fav tune.
can't wait to learn it.
Thanx again!

no problem, thanks for watching!!!

Personally I thought the Illusionist was a much more powerful film that the prestige, with better acting performances and a better screenplay.

what's the name of this remix?
blizzfoolmusic 3 years ago
It's from Yorke's Abulm "The Eraser" which the song also appears in the movie "The Prestige" as an ending credit song.
lunarbase 3 years ago
i know what song it is. but is this the real version? or is the other version thats much slower with more electronics the real version?
blizzfoolmusic 3 years ago
