Gordon freeman was put in statis after half life 1, so he hasn't aged a day (as it is commented in the starting sections of half life 2) and barney was working at black mesa as a security guard prior to the resonance cascade (you play him in Blue Shift) so he is a lot older then 20. probably in his early 40s. And if half life 2 is indeed about 20 years after half life 1, alyx has aged from 3-5 too 23-25, putting her age close to Freeman, so yes, you're wrong ^^
@Chiefchickenwing i believe that since Gordon was in stasis he didn't really change in age wise (besides in looks) for two reasons: 1 if valve wanted to make him that old than they probably skip to another blue shift or opposing force or just made gordon die of a heart attack. and 2 i really don't think that you age in stasis. feel free to criticize me on my channel, i won't say anything unless you/somebody make a really good point or a really bad point. :-)

I didn't make the video.
