@RebeltilliDie45 I love Mossberg. I have two 500's and I couldnt ask for a better shotgun. I dont know what the semi's are like, but I hear they are a great value. My pumps have never jammed ever and I expect to kill a lot more rabbits and ducks with them. My biggest gripe is the action bars. One is fairly thin and the forearms twists a bit. I also love Browning and if I was going for a Semi I would get a Maxus, or a Beretta Extrema2. I personally am not a fan of Inertia systems

@RogueCivilian They will accept any USGI bayonet. Same as what fits on AR/15-M16 Rifles. Try pawn shops, try e-bay.

Can you ad a pistol grip and stock combo to the mossberg 930? I haven't seen anything specific to this gun but I know the 500/590 have them but am not sure if they would work on the 930.

i personally dont believe in pistol grips on mossys because of the safety

@pumpauto I actually agree with you. The pistol grip is better suited for the Remingtons where the safety is at the trigger guard. It is awkward to operate the top safeties on the mossbergs with a pistol grip. Usually i don't have the safety engaged with the 500 and 590. The 930 has a regular stock so that can be operated normally.

@sacdog Didn't need to trim anything. Used it for my 930spx although i did read on some gun forums that some people did some trimming on the tabs that hold it at the base of the barrel and some people didn't need to.

@sacdog The John Masen shield is what i have on the 930spx. It works great and fits great too. Got mine at Midway USA. Installation is pretty simple, slips on the barrel and 2 screws to fasten the front

@dakine425 No matter what it hates Winchester Universal from Walmart. It's a very weak round and no semis like them. Maybe it needs to be broken in more? It's all good though. It's no skeet gun. It's a Zombie killer!!!

True the winchesters are problematic. I have more luck with the remington bulk packs but not much. Zombie killers are always fun.
