In NasCar they actually race each other and after looking at almost 2 seasons of F1 i can honestly say it has nothing to do with racing. After turn one in each "race" there rarely is any kind of passing and normally the 5 top spot remain unchanged during the so called race. so so boring. The only exception i have seen is the australian GP last season i think. Amercans on the other hand know how to entertain, F1 does not. ...........and finally, im european

You watch it for the extreme skill of the drivers and the battles (both racing and tactical) that go on. If you need a bit of intelligence to appreciate it then so be it. We don't have to care what Americans do or don't like all the time.

If you want cars to pass each other then stand by the edge of a motorway. All you have to do is know how to turn slightly left and you'll be fine. An f1 race is not all that predictable, it kinda depends on what track it is. Anyway, the only reason there isn't a lot of overtaking is that it takes real skill to drive an f1 car...

@kgr00 Actually the best tracks in the world are in the USA. Everywhere else in the world they sedate them with silly little chicanes. You need to do some research, you're making yourself sound silly. NASCAR is one type of racing and in actual fact NASCAR races on tracks where they do have to turn right also... Again, do some research.

Sadly, about the time the race runs live on Speed TV (US), I will be sleeping. So, I will watch the rebroadcast at 12:30PM CDT in the US (again, on Speed).

Thanks. Speed TV covers Formula 1. I just wish I could get a US TV schedule so I can WATCH the whole season this year.
Here in my part of the US, we don't have any BBC TV. (I doubt anywhere else in the country does either.) I wish we did. BBC-1, 2, 3, and 4 would be great, but censorship is a joke. If you ever see American TV, you'll know spot-on what I'm talking about. In northern MN, we get CBC-TV Montreal.

@globelthreatx try not to crash a car when you're going 3-4 wide trough a turn with 200+ MPH. I bet you can't do it. Even though I like F1 better, I think NASCAR is harder. In F1, they don't need a spotter to tell where another car is, cause they can see it. In NASCAR, they have to focus on the road ahead, cause you never know what will happen when going 200 mph with barelly enough space for a scooter between 2 cars

In NasCar they actually race each other and after looking at almost 2 seasons of F1 i can honestly say it has nothing to do with racing. After turn one in each "race" there rarely is any kind of passing and normally the 5 top spot remain unchanged during the so called race. so so boring. The only exception i have seen is the australian GP last season i think. Amercans on the other hand know how to entertain, F1 does not. ...........and finally, im european

@mugsy1972333 yes, but you don't just watch formula 1 for endless passing. If you want that just watch Touring cars. You watch it for the extreme skill of the drivers and the battles (both racing and tactical) that go on. These are the best drivers in the world driving the fastest cars in the world, so if you're not a F1 fan you're not really a racing fan. If you need a bit of intelligence to appreciate it then so be it. We don't have to care what Americans do or don't like all the time.

@BobbyRossRacing93 Yea, but all it consists of is cars going round an oval 200 plus times. Yes, they do pass, but that doesn't make it exciting. If you want cars to pass each other then stand by the edge of a motorway. All you have to do is know how to turn slightly left and you'll be fine. An f1 race is not all that predictable, it kinda depends on what track it is. Anyway, the only reason there isn't a lot of overtaking is that it takes real skill to drive an f1 car...

@ruckaisawesome356 I't ain't easy to drive a Nascar sprint cup car, I have test drived a couple of times myself, I also tested a formula BMW that is not easy either so yes I know it takes real skill to drive an F1 car, and the same for a stockcar. But I have respect for F1, Nascar, And indycar. I'm into all 3 of theme.
