Oh yeah, if you still wanna stick the old 90s and nothing else, don't bother replying because I already know what sort of reply you'll give... and I will tell you the same thing again, which is I will appreciate excellent music that came since Bach or Beethoven, music that made Frank Sinatra, BB King, Elvis, The Beatles, The Doors, McFadden&Whitehead, Luther Vandross, Pink Floyd too, Carl Cox, Tiesto or AVB, Trentemoller, Sasha & Digweed, Jamiroquai, Oasis, Tupac... I own a record store bitch!

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While y'all grow old to senility alone with your ultimate 90s CDs or cassettes, I can at least still have youngbloods hangin out chillin with me with new grooves while sharing with them ol skool's cool. I ain't no Muammar Gaddafi of music. Hahahahaha...

Music is a universal. Mozart was probably the most finely tunes musical genius that ever breathed, BUT it depends on where you are in your life and times. When I was a youth 40years ago I couldn't stand Mozart or Beethoven and really got off on Rock n blues, still do, plus this and a whole load of other stuff which blows me away, mind you at my age I can't head bang, it might fall off! All music is like sand painting, a magical moment in time and place, what you like depends on where you are.
The two who think the 80s and 90s music were best..well... Obviously if you're born in that music era. Jeez. I was born in the 90s and like todays music (E.G Dubstep..lol) Yes, Why? Because we're all different ..so stop complaining about how crap music is nowadays.
the only difference when people say, "ohhh.... music in the 90s was better than now" is only because those people rarely looked for 'what's new' and stuck to the old ones since they have kids now, a career to focus on.... Come on, use the Internet and your supersonic broadband to look around and make some time... this is not the age when you have to wait for a bimonthly magazine... or MTV anymore... YOUTUBE and GOOGLE is here.
@k0pikolombia Honestly dude, i still watch youtube, and MTV and VIVA, and listen to podcasts and stuff, but i have to say, that still better music was in 90s. Alot of artists from 90s that were awesome in 90s are now just ''another pop band'' (tiesto included). I agree that music has to change and evolve, but today its almost all the same. There is almost no difference between pop and rap and dance. Its all mashed up...
@DrEvilVader well... if you only looked to like a certain genre... it does happen. I may agree with you to that... but I do not find this decade's sound boring.. Tiesto may have reached his creativity limit and needs time to come up with his old magic by doing something else... but honestly, we are not short. In fact, because I do feel this decade's English indie-rock have less talent than the 90s, I opted my favor to Japanese indie-rock, and man, their sounds are different.
to all people talking about what music is good or bad or whatever, just listen to what you want and shut up, its your opinion and your choice in music and you cannot control what others listen to so all comments that say your an idiot or your taste in music does not matter
Oh, the time where MTV actually passed music, and actually good music. Nowadays it should be changed to BRTV - Blunt Relationships TV. Chemical Brothers rock!
@Gamer123SIMZ You are very wrong. You can actually see Tom 'n Ed (The Chemical Brothers) in this video. Plus, RATM doesn't sound like this, this is Big Beat and The Chems pioneered it.
This was an instant classic the day it came out I was working in a strip club as a DJ and we would crank this shit up whether people were here or not and it seemed to always make the girls happy.
Sometime the girls would go out back smoke a bowl and come in yell`n play that shit again....lol =]
@Voitzify you guys do realize when this song came out there were as many people as there are now saying "MUSIC NOW SUCKS OLD MUSIC RULES YEAH" as there are now? mtv played shit like mariah carey, smash mouth, backstreet boys and sarah maclachlan
well then that's why break beats are the best, they all don't sound the same. No annoying 4 kick constantly over and over in your head, that's why house and crap sounds all the same. umm umm umm umm
oldies? the song has to be at least 50 years to be an oldie. This is from 1996 and i remember playing Tomb Raider and listening to this album over and over.
You may live on the other side of the atlantic or live in a different countries but I can see that that all of us have the same feelings about todays music and whats been aired on MTV and VH1 nowadays.

@Paulonei62 Well you two are twe very stupid oldies then aren't you?
You should know by now that there is only so many tunes you can play before the beat is the same. There are only so many rythms than can be played before it sounds the same.
The creativity for a change in some music is still there though as I've said there's only so many things you/they can do before it's the same.
Chemical Brothers are great but I've heard this argument before. If you don't like it, why are you hear?

@Paulonei62 Yeah..great music like Rick Astley.Boyz2MenNew Kids on da Block etc etc...please dude.Every era has it's ups and downs..I'm 42 and I like music from all decades: 40's till now. And this stuff it's pure genius. But that's my opinion! But to all you CB haters: don't sell your opinion as a fact!
@olo1011 Everything changes...and that's cool about,...people...music...clothes...tastes...any many others....The thing is if WE can keep the step with it. What is on air on MTV , beside...crappy show's?
@olo1011 Well same could be said about the music of the 60's/70's. Every period has good or bad music. There is some great music coming out today, it just doesn't get much/any mainstream media exposure.
@olo1011 Come on, now! You're talking like your parents - remember what they thought about the music YOU were listening in the 80s and 90s? Don't be like them!
@olo1011 Come on, now! You're talking like your parents - remember what they thought about the music YOU were listening in the 80s and 90s? Don't be like them! You are not helping at all, with this self-absorbed attitude. [not that you were trying to..] There were planty of manky things about the 80s-90s too.

@Paulonei62 The 60s and 70s had better music than the 80s. I agree with you on the 90s though.
Best music ever: 60s, 70s, 90s

@olo1011 Everything changes...and that's cool about,...people...music...clothes...tastes...any many others....The thing is if WE can keep the step with it. What is on air on MTV , beside...crappy show's?

@olo1011 Well same could be said about the music of the 60's/70's. Every period has good or bad music. There is some great music coming out today, it just doesn't get much/any mainstream media exposure.

@olo1011 Come on, now! You're talking like your parents - remember what they thought about the music YOU were listening in the 80s and 90s? Don't be like them!

You are not helping at all, with this self-absorbed attitude. [not that you were trying to..] There were planty of manky things about the 80s-90s too.
