  • Nice review, m8. I prefer "classical" arragment, can you put long dividers along the bag?

  • Hey i just have one small question... How do the mini compartments go with the accessories. Are there enough to store memory cards , chargers , hard disks extra batteries... cause i believe in proper distribution of my equipments...

  • someones been watching video copilot tutorials;) cool review man

  • great review mate, i got this bag i'm also very satisfied!

    Thank you!

  • @v3rnam No problem! I'm glad you're happy with the new bag! The UP-Rise series are one of the best bags I have ever used. Glad I could help!

  • Since today I have the Vanguard Up-Rise 43 backpack which is also a very nice item. It has enough space to carry all my equipment.....even my Sony 70-400 tele fits in it.

  • @ganimed1976 Excellent, congrats on the new Vanguard Up-Rise, love my 48 :).

  • i have a 15.6 inch laptop.... can it fit in this bag.... i am planning to buy one... and this is one promising bag... can i fit my 15.6 inch laptop inside it... otherwise it wont be of any use.... please guide....

  • @nikunj08 Yes it should fit perfectly :). Hope this helps!

  • Not a really good review. I mean, it is good, but it looks like the guy owned the bag for 5 minutes. I have this bag for quiet some time, and indeed it is awesome but it is DESPERATELY missing small pockets. Nowhere to place a memory card reader, additional cards, batteries or whatsoever. The upper compartment has two net pockets, but that is not enough, and net pockets are good only for smooth items, the others get stuck, and all the stuff in upper pocket is NOT FIXED, just keeps moving around.

  • @lboshkovic Sorry you feel that way, I actually used the bag for quite awhile. I took it with me to CES 2011 and a few adjacent conference trips and it worked wonders. Thanks for the input anyways.

  • The movie is underexposed... I don't even see the bag.

  • @lboshkovic Sorry about that, have been working on improving the video settings in future videos. Thank you for the input!

  • I'm considering buying this bag. However, one thing has been bothering me for a while. Are the lens slots/compartments accessible from the quick access slot on the side. All the videos show the camera being accessible from the side. But, say I need to switch lenses, will I need to open the whole thing up to get to my spare lenses? A little light on this would be greatly appreciated. =)

  • @Ryuuketssu There is one compartment I believe that is still accessible from the side (which will fit a lens). Hope this helps! :)

  • @TekBeatTV Thank you very much. I'm almost completely inclined to buy this bag. I'll drop into the local shop and see if I can pick up a piece. Once again, thanks for the great review. =)

  • @Ryuuketssu1 No problem and glad I could help! :)

  • I am always surprised that camera reviews of black nylon bags by photographers have such BAD lighting. You cannot see the features of the bag when it is black on black and poorly lit. Come on, get your lights out and put some light on the subject, just like you do with a proper shoot. !!!

  • @gsridr Sorry to hear that, I do have two softboxes pointed at the product in the video, but going forward I will look into adjusting the lighting angles so that I can add to the details. Thanks for the input.

  • @TekBeatTV something really simple that you might want to try that ive found works well is just use a blue cloth on the table instead of a white one. does wonders for the exposure :)

  • @chiparoo3000 Appreciate the tip :). I actually like the white background (way back when I used a blue tablecloth as a backdrop). I have since improved the lighting so the white background should look much better now. :).

  • I want to get this!! ^_^

  • @LoveLyricalRideX Nice! :)

  • My uprise 48 arrived today ,It's perfect for my needs and my new 15.6" lappy fits snuggly .As you say dont think would fit a 46 and 48 is just the right size to take my kit anyway [d20 ,70,-200mm f 2.8 ,28 - 135 mm ,18-55mm ,580 ex flash + usual batt bits and pieces ]

To make the most of the quick access side pocket I removed the batt grip on my d 20 but thats not a biggy [whenever I need grip I've got 580 ex mounted anyway ]

A fantastic buy ,and thanks again for great vid and advice :~)

  • @Dave062YT Nice! Glad it worked out for you! And no problem! I am glad I could help! Enjoy it man!

  • Yeah will do .ps I ordered the 48 but 46 is prob ideal size for me .Do you know if the 46 will actually take a 15" laptop [they say 14"]

My guess is that it will ,and will send 48 back and change it right away if so .

Either way will be a great buy Im sure .

  • @Dave062YT Honestly I do not think it will fit a 15" laptop given what I have read. I would ask customer service support just in case though, they will be happy to clarify I think. Let me know what you decide, pretty sure other viewers will be interested as well.

  • Great video ,thanks ! ps have ordered one ,cant wait for it to arrive ;#0

  • @Dave062YT Nice! Congratz on the purchase and let me know what you think! Appreciate the support and kind words as well!

  • @PoppaSweet Hmmm with regards to a 17 inch there are not any options that I have heard of that will also accommodate that much DSLR equipment :(. Sorry i could not help more!

  • Thanks For The Review Man! My Only Question, I heard you say up to 15 inch. Well I Have The 17 inch MacBookPro. Mmm, Help Me Out?!!!

  • @PoppaSweet Sorry to say but it works only up to 15" laptops :(. Maybe they will make a UP-Rise 50? ;) Hint Hint Vanguard if you ever read this! haha.

  • @OnTheTech It definitely is haha :).

  • This thing is sooooo sick!! It makes me regret buying my Incase Compact Backpack...

  • @HackTheTouch haha it is amazing, this backpack pretty much as it all. Now if only it could produce cash so I could get more lens for the DSLR...haha. By the way thanks for the comment and support, it really helps!

  • Glad to see a white background and o love that backpack, how much did it cost?

  • @therandomunboxer101 At the time I purchased it it was $149.99 US (off Amazon if I recall correctly). Thanks for the compliment, what I think I will be doing is white with products that are of the darker nature and black when the product is really white or bright (offer better contrast). :)

  • Loving the new white background Will!

  • @JamesEdwardReid Thanks man, I aim to please my subscribers :).

  • Good job Will. Your videos are of top notch quality! :)

  • @MrTeiV Thanks man for the support and compliments (you have been on of my long time subscribers I really appreciate that :). It is really durable surprisingly, as with most BackPacks I go through they usually do not last long. I will continue to make videos especially since I enjoy doing them and I think I am helping at least a few people out there ;).

  • @TekBeatTV You sure helped me decide to get the JustBeats Headphones, soon as I saw that review, I wanted them! ;)
