TNA is focusing too much on Eric Bischoff and Jeff Jarrett, neither of whom anyone gives a shit about. Chris Daniels is much happier in ROH. I'm guessing that he won't be jobbing to Val Venis there.

They determine by your cable or satellite boxes, they can even tell if it's being DVR'd. Then they add 2- 3 more people watching, but with dvr they only add 1 person to th equation.

Most WWE fans nowadays dont even know who Bret Hart is. Everyone knows who Hogan is. This accomplished nothing for WWE. The hypocrites though who keep bashing TNA for theyre "washed" up wrestlers cream in their pants over a guy in his late 50s, whos had strokes, and hasent wrestled in 10 years when he signs with WWE.
OK but what can Hogan bring to the table? I bet WWE will do better w/ Brett than TNA will do with Hogan. If Hogan was such a success WCW and American Gladiators would still be on tv. Even with some of the legends TNA has gathered they couldn't even scratch at Smackdown or RAW numbers.

This is not the WWE's first time in pg era. They were like that when WCW rose up from the ground. My main problem is that TNA uses too many WWE ex's. I like Daniels, Joe, Styles, and more. I think it was a mistake for Bobby Lashley to sign on and I'm sorry but watching Sting is kinda sad.

Team 3d were forced out of WWE due to Bubba and his attitude. Steiner and Sting put on terrible matches, why do they keep putting Sting in the main event of their "wrestlemania" type PPV? Not many people are fans of the 6 sided ring and sometimes their gimmick matches have too many rules it's hard to follow. Like King of the Mountain and where the cage lowers w weapons.

I was curious about Hulk in TNA, but all that went out the window now that BRETT is back in WWE. And, whatever momenteum TNA had with HULK is all gone.
Well, it's simple. The last time Bret was on WWE television was more than 12 years ago. The overwhelming majority of WWE's fans today do not even know who he is. Hogan is more popular, and until recently was appearing on WWE television. Who has more appeal?
I would say Brett just for the legend status. DX originals were not together for 9 almost 10 years, but look how big they are now. So, this could bring the old fans back to see what's going to happen.
Hogan has more legend status than Bret. Hogan made this sport what it is. As for DX, the success they enjoyed wasn't due to the old fans tuning back in, it was merely riding their old glory and young child fans took to it being "cool". Long term, Hogan and TNA have advantage. Short term, most fans today don't know who bret is.
Hogan is a great sports entertainer, but Bret was by far a better wrestler. Could Hogan do an iron man match? And Hogan also rides the glory of his old days how many matches has he had in his past 5 years?
Hogan, when it comes to wrestling ability, couldn't even lace Brett's boots. That's for sure. But Im talking about marketing potential here and not wrestling. Hogan is better for business than is Brett. WCW failed not because of Hogan but because of the management.
Hogan and Bischoff were managment(I think there is 1 e) Vince is a better salesman than Hogan. Hogan tried his own promotion once and i failed after 1 show in Memphis.
And yes Hogan has had many matches in the past 5 years and thats the whole point, he still wrestles and is still known. Everyone world wide knows who Hogan is, even if they don't watch wrestling. I may be a bigger fan of brett than hogan, but the truth is when bret makes his return on raw you listen to the crowd reaction. almost non existant i bet.

how does this tv rating work between wwe and tna? how do they even figure out how many people are watching a show?

They determine by your cable or satellite boxes, they can even tell if it's being DVR'd. Then they add 2- 3 more people watching, but with dvr they only add 1 person to th equation.

Most WWE fans nowadays dont even know who Bret Hart is. Everyone knows who Hogan is. This accomplished nothing for WWE. The hypocrites though who keep bashing TNA for theyre "washed" up wrestlers cream in their pants over a guy in his late 50s, whos had strokes, and hasent wrestled in 10 years when he signs with WWE.

OK but what can Hogan bring to the table? I bet WWE will do better w/ Brett than TNA will do with Hogan. If Hogan was such a success WCW and American Gladiators would still be on tv. Even with some of the legends TNA has gathered they couldn't even scratch at Smackdown or RAW numbers.

Of course WWEs gonna do better. Theyve been around 50 years? TNAs only 7 years old. WWE travels around the country, TNA does impact and PPVs in Orlando. More importantly though, WWE is PG or G whatever, pussy wrassling. Hogans gonna bring that gritty type of wrestling from the late 90s early 2000s stuff the fans from the MNWs remember. I cant speak for WCW or Gladiators. Gladiators failed before though i know that. WCW wasnt all Hogans fault either. Flair hated how WCW was ran...

Ok, the reason why WWE targets the younger audience is because who spends the money on merch and ppv's? Parents with small kids that watch wrestling. That male 18-45 demo is gone taken by MMA. TNA has a small audience due to the fact that they are doing shows for a certain audience

This is not the WWE's first time in pg era. They were like that when WCW rose up from the ground. My main problem is that TNA uses too many WWE ex's. I like Daniels, Joe, Styles, and more. I think it was a mistake for Bobby Lashley to sign on and I'm sorry but watching Sting is kinda sad.

Team 3d were forced out of WWE due to Bubba and his attitude. Steiner and Sting put on terrible matches, why do they keep putting Sting in the main event of their "wrestlemania" type PPV? Not many people are fans of the 6 sided ring and sometimes their gimmick matches have too many rules it's hard to follow. Like King of the Mountain and where the cage lowers w weapons.

Bret hates Vince McMahon personally and he is only their for the money. What can they actually do on a PG TV show...have Hanna Montana invade the WWE saying that she is signing Bret Heart to a Disney Channel contract and have Vince and Hanna fight over him...to lead to a program at WM26 w/the WWE and Disney channel stars surrounding the ring for old man vs old man match.
All the wrestle-mania's since 22 sucked and UFC is going to destroy WWE as they are airing a PPV the day before them.

I agree with you on one thing Hardy vs St Pierre, is going to really hurt Wrestlemania. But, so is Paccaquiao vs Mayweather. And, do you personally know if Bret hates Vince? Reading his book and watching interviews Brett was on Vince's side after Owen and got closer to him after Stu's death and his stroke.

I know Vince and he would pay Bret the right money to come back to the WWE. Besides Vince is usually out for himself and is he really fit to run the company? He is midgets main eventing RAW and he is disgraceful women making a smoker of the sport as they can't wrestle.
He even had a Vince couldn't fire Orton storyline and it was so fake...came of like that on TV. I think Hogan can draw better and the storyline seems good, TNA saying that JJ slept w/Karen Angle...and building a war on TNA.

Well, it's simple. The last time Bret was on WWE television was more than 12 years ago. The overwhelming majority of WWE's fans today do not even know who he is. Hogan is more popular, and until recently was appearing on WWE television. Who has more appeal?

I would say Brett just for the legend status. DX originals were not together for 9 almost 10 years, but look how big they are now. So, this could bring the old fans back to see what's going to happen.

Hogan has more legend status than Bret. Hogan made this sport what it is. As for DX, the success they enjoyed wasn't due to the old fans tuning back in, it was merely riding their old glory and young child fans took to it being "cool". Long term, Hogan and TNA have advantage. Short term, most fans today don't know who bret is.

Hogan, when it comes to wrestling ability, couldn't even lace Brett's boots. That's for sure. But Im talking about marketing potential here and not wrestling. Hogan is better for business than is Brett. WCW failed not because of Hogan but because of the management.

Hogan and Bischoff were managment(I think there is 1 e) Vince is a better salesman than Hogan. Hogan tried his own promotion once and i failed after 1 show in Memphis.

I may be a bigger fan of brett than hogan, but the truth is when bret makes his return on raw you listen to the crowd reaction. almost non existant i bet.
