@Screenplaya the war could have been prevented back in 2002 if the UN hadn't been messing up. A few countries in Europe blocked resolutions that the US and UK were proposing. Those countries had ties with Saddam and didn't want to lose out on money. I was very much into politics back then and followed what was going on. The US and UK tried for months before the war to get stuff straightened out but couldn't because the resolutions were getting blocked in the UN meetings.
