How about: a dome tent/ functioning shelter, made entirely out of duct tape? You could use some of the tape rolled up tightly as rods for bars and reinforcements...then use trianglular/ dome shapes for strength to help support the structure. Finally, to test it out, take your duct taped-up sleeping bag inside and give it a test run over night, outdoors. Who says you need wilderness survival, when you can build it from a hobby store. Make sure you also tape the inside, so it's not sticky!
