It was such a beautiful day and i even asked God to take me instead but it was to late. she passed on. and i made a promise to be brave and do what i can to make my family's lives better until my time comes to. Now this song reminds me of her.

My cousin Lori passed away in 2003 and this was her favorite song. They played this song at her viewing, she had a long year battling lung cancer. I cry every time I hear this song because she died in the early morning like the song says I'll fly away in the morning. She was only 45 years old when she died and she is deeply missed.

My older sister passed away 11/17/10 and not a day has gone by that i dont think about her. This is the song she chose for her funeral, her last song. We were very close when we were younger, but as we grew older, we lived two separate lives. I would give anything now to have been closer to her. I miss her everyday. I drove my dad up to KY (from Louisiana) so he and I could tell her how much we loved her. Its so hard losing a sibling, no one will ever understand. I love u Tammy. RIP big sis.

It's wonderful that u -- like most people of every faith, & of none -- have the courtesy & tact 2 show due respect 4 the performers, their art, & their audiences, and not use random YT posts as a field in which 2 hunt 4 souls 2 save.
Unfortunately, there r always those few who feel the need 2 do so.
That doesn't make it right for others 2 post unhelpful, off-topic comments here -- but maybe it's understandable?

Our family doctor passed away this past week at the age of 85, they sung this song at his wake, it was a really touching tribute to a brilliant man.

@talahitime dear talahitime i am a atheist and i love this song because my grandpa sang this to me as a child. if you havent seen pictures of the universe and the many wonders of how science and nature works and maby earned a college degree in biology you can state such foolish statements hateing men who choose logic instead of blind faith. theres no need to attack people. i love this song but i would appreaciate it if you wouldnt state biaist statements on the internet. please . -jimmiwannabe-

@Char2805Live Belief comes by faith, and faith by hearing the Word of God. I hope you believe someday, then you can partake of the Goodness of God. Then you shall truely know what this song means at an entirely new level. Place your faith and trust in Jesus Christ and He will reveal Himself to you. @stabbification the Islamic god is not the God of the Bible. Christianity and Islam and Judaism all claim Moses to be a prophet, yes, but only Christianity acknowledges Jesus' divinity. Others say Jesus was another prophet. Jews wait for the "Messiah" even tho he's come. Islams say Muhammad was the last prophet, yet Muhammad didn't perform miracles. How do you explain that? Anyone can do what Muhammad did, no one can do what Jesus did.

My sister-in law Paula passed away Sept 14th 2011 after a 10 year battle with cancer. She picked all the music for her funeral and this was one one of the songs she chose. The day she died my husband saw a butterfly on the window that sat there a long time. We both felt it was Paula saying goodbye

@ziroacanin i'm sorry for your loss.....im 14 and my mom died last year and not a day goes by that i do not miss her but i know where she and the only thing that matters is that she is in heaven and she is most certainly happy......and remember:smile because he and god loves you!!

My older sister passed away 11/17/10 and not a day has gone by that i dont think about her. This is the song she chose for her funeral, her last song. We were very close when we were younger, but as we grew older, we lived two separate lives. I would give anything now to have been closer to her. I miss her everyday. I drove my dad up to KY (from Louisiana) so he and I could tell her how much we loved her. Its so hard losing a sibling, no one will ever understand. I love u Tammy. RIP big sis.
