I was thinking of picking one up, but I broke out with the Studio Fix Fluid. I'm allergic to SPF, so I'm afraid of the SPF 10 part. =/ I hear a lot of people say they would break out from the Studio Fix, but not with Prolong Wear. So, that got me curious. I'll check it out today and get a sample. Hopefully it works for me, because I hear a lot of people love it.

Have you tried the Studio Tech thats my fav!!! Thats a creme texture and it dries to a powder finish! Bonus!! plus you can vary the use of it by thining it out with a fragrance free lotion to make a lighter coverage!! Love it!!

I love MAC's strobe cream. I think I want to try MAC ProLongwear next. I am trying MAC's Studio Fix Fluid and Studio Sculpt right now. The Studio Sculpt is sooo pretty, but I am very oily so it wears splotchy on my chin and nose.

@LoVeBuGQuEEn9 It should be the case. I am a C4 in the powder, and I got matched with NW35 in the Studio Fix Liquid. If you go to the MAC counter they'll match it for you.

Nicole revlon came out with a new air mousse foundation I love it u should try it if you have not done so already and it is sort of dewy and light just do not use too much (i did the first time) goes on smooth and wears pretty well let me know what u think

WOW I am NC30 because of my golden tones!How can I get the pro mac foundation?They dont sell these at the dillards mac counter!at any counter! i have the mac studio fix foundation and it works really well! it has medium to heavy coverage too...i haven't found that its breaks me out either! but i do wanna try that cover fx primer!

Great review, hun! I've been really curious about this product for a while now. Have you tried the MAC Pro Longwear concealer? I've heard great things and I think I'm more comfortable wearing a more medium coverage foundation with a long-wearing, heavy duty concealer on problem areas, you know? I don't know. do you know if all mac stores give samples of the foundations if you are unsure/stuc between 2 colors? also, would you recommend their brush cleaner, if I didn't want to deep clean it like in your other video?

@hellobluemoon Yes I have gotten so many samples from them. Its a great way to try a product and see if you really like it before wasting your money on something that might not work for you. I have never tried their brush cleaner, but I have heard really mixed reviews. Fromheadtotoee just posted a really helpful vid on spot cleaning and deep cleaning. It is a great high quality video and she has a great method!

I've been doing my research on mac foundations because I really want to try one. I usually just use a tinted moisturizer. But I'm up for a change. I was going to try face and body but the mac counter in my city doesn't carry it :( I would most definitely be willing to try a full coverage foundation, I've never tried one so I don't know really know if I wouldn't like it. Basically, what skin type is this one best for? I've got combination skin.

@lyndsie92 I think it is perfect for combo skin. Its a great one to start with because it does look so natural and it feels very light. You could even mix a pump of the foundation with a pump of your moisturizer for a custom TM. I do it all the time.

I never understood the MAC foundations. I'm 2-3 shades lighter than you and I used to wear the NC25. And the smell use to make me nauseous! It was soooo bad that my friends noticed the smell whenever I wore it!! Lol!

Im glad you enjoy it! <3 MAC needs ppl to be professional on helping others pick the right shades w/ foundation & concealer...i went twice & a woman had me buy a foundation and concealer that were the same (number and all) and after using it for a month (both times)i found out it was the wrong shade (washington is dark state) so when the sun came out i looked (im sorry) White. Im darker than NC42 so i used my mom's NC50 and mixed in a few drops and got the perfect shade (i couldnt return it) grr

you should try the concealer! i have it in a shade lighter and i put it on before the foundation and it works MAGIC! also with the mineralize skin finish powder looks good, or the powder foundation for a "cakey look"

Today i wore it and i noticed that AFTER i took off my makeup i had a pimple (a nasty white head ew...that time of month) and the concealer/ foundation covered it ALL DAY! love it!
