The bible that you worship so much was put together by the Catholic church. Back in the times of Constantine, he called to a meeting, the "council of Nicea" and all the high priests and powerful people in the empire decided to have only the four gospels in the bible and to elevate Jesus to a divine nature. @jeffkeebz King James Version is the closest translation. Also "blueletterbible. com" lets you see hewbrew and greek words from which the the bible was translated.

@catriceleanne ::How right you are. The second coming was predicted in Mark 9:1, didn't happen. Bart Ehrman wrote a book about contradictions and errors in the bible called "Jesus Interrupted". There is nothing infallible about the Christian religion.

Honestly, I do not care wheter it is pre-trib or mid-trib or post-trib. I do not know how far we are into Revelation. However, this i do know: Jesus is coming right away. Many people were warned in visions and dreams. We must not be asleep, but we must live for Jesus only, and we must live holy. Do not get caught up in worldliness! Jesus is coming right away! there are 4 known translation errors in KJV
however the word for word matches up the closest.
NKJV fixes those 4 and chances "thy" to the and so on without changing any meanings of words or thoughts.
one example is in greek we are told the mark of the beast is UNDER you right hand or forhead. that didn't make sense in 1611 so the KJV says the mark was ON your right hand or forhead.

What doesn't make sense to me is how mean God sounds. Why should someone burn for all eternity just because they didn't believe in God? Sounds a little harsh doesn't it? And I've heard the argument about how God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell. It's all the Devil's fault. Well then does that make Satan more powerful than God? that's scary to think about. @catriceleanne ::How right you are. The second coming was predicted in Mark 9:1, didn't happen. Bart Ehrman wrote a book about contradictions and errors in the bible called "Jesus Interrupted". There is nothing infallible about the Christian religion.

People would be less afraid of him than if he dramaticly descended from the heavens in a Godlike form. Since most people in america are white, they portray Him as being white for the same purpose. Honestly, I do not care wheter it is pre-trib or mid-trib or post-trib. I do not know how far we are into Revelation. However, this i do know: Jesus is coming right away. Many people were warned in visions and dreams. We must not be asleep, but we must live for Jesus only, and we must live holy. Do not get caught up in worldliness! Jesus is coming right away! @utubernaut : I think when people say "rapture" they mean that we will be "taken up" or "caught away". Rapture is not a word used in scripture to describe this "gathering". You are correct in quoting 2 Corinthians 15:52. The last trumpet will be the 7th according to Revelation (chapter 6).
